This house was just perfect !!!! ( I hate to say that because we plan on booking much more) Very clean, had everything you would need. I MEAN EVERYTHING !!!!!Beds are very comfortable, linens are nice, rooms are very spacious. Love the fenced in yard for our fur baby. Neighbors are also very nice. Owners are the best. Very responsive with any questions you may have. We already booked for next year !!!!!!!!!

We enjoyed everything about this cottage! It was very well stocked and comfortable. The neighbors were friendly, but not intrusive. We liked that the boat launch was just a couple of miles away. The fenced yard on the lake side was really helpful with our dog there and she enjoyed resting in the grass and watching all of the activity on the lake. Many thanks to our hosts for making their cottage available.

Loved our stay at this clean and cozy home on Houghton Lake. It was well stocked and we enjoyed the games including shuffle board and ladder ball. Hosts are friendly and responsive. Our dog loved the fenced in back yard by the lake to watch the waves and ducks. Great property!

We loved everything about this house! Everyone including my elderly father and uncle were comfortable and really enjoyed the view of the lake. The house is well stocked so even on the cold, rainy days we had board games, darts, and puzzles to entertain us! We especially loved the vintage feel of the house. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Our thanks to Steve, a very accommodating host. What a darling cottage. When you walk in the door you’ll feel at home! Very welcoming. Entirely stocked with just about everything. That kitchen had it all. WOW! Nice neighbors. C L E A N! You couldn’t buy the view. Close to everything at HL & Prudenville. Did I mention C L E A N! We hope to return to this little gem.

This cottage has a beautiful view of the lake and sunsets. It’s close to town and many recreation options. Host was friendly and gracious.

My husband and I booked a long weekend at this wonderful cottage. The house was well stocked and efficient. Tons of movies, games, and puzzles. Short drive to the grocery store. Plenty of cozy spots to sit and read a book or watch the boats go by. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard and shallow water where they played all day. We watched the sunset every evening and couldn't believe how beautiful it was. The owners were so kind and were available for anything we would have needed. Will definitely book again!

We had a wonderful time at this property. There was nothing we needed that wasn't there. The sunsets are crazy beautiful, the yard is wonderful, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is well supplied and everything was really clean. It was even better than expected and I can't say enough about how wonderful the owners are. We had a medical emergency with a member in our group. I will just say, Steve and Rosemary were not only supportive and helpful, but went way beyond what many property owners would do. They are remarkable. I hope we get to back again.

Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed this vacation getaway! We cannot say enough good things about this rental! The home is stocked with everything you might need and with so many activities to enjoy! There is plenty for people of all ages; parents of younger children could come and not have to bring anything to do! Their lakefront yard is so spacious. Steve and his wife were excellent with immediate communication and with accommodating us... we even appreciated the fishing tips! ;) And the fenced-in yard on the lakeside was perfect for bringing our furry friend! We absolutely loved our stay!!

Property as described. Clean, very accomodating. Everything you need and then some. Would go back but we never go to same place. Do this every year.
