Charming Modern Cottage on Houghton Lake!

The cottage was so adorable! The view to the lake was amazing.. Everything was great!

Location was great, right on the water with a patio & all you need for relaxing, playing, eating & hanging out. Host was very responsive to questions & requests.

This place was beautiful! All remodeled, and very clean. It’s on the smaller side, but was perfect for our family of 3, (even had a pull out couch for bigger families) and very functional! The owner Jen was wonderful, answered any questions you had, and responded very quickly! Amazing view of The sunset every night! We would stay here again, highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin with outstanding sunset views. Extremely clean with great amenities. If your looking for a relaxing holiday this is definitely the place.

We had a lovely time at this beautiful little cottage. Absolutely beautiful sunsets. There is not a beach but the lake has a sandy bottom that you can walk out quite a ways and it still stays shallow.

Cottage was as advertised. Very clean and well stocked with everything needed for a few days at the lake.

We stayed three nights at this charming lake cabin and it was just great! Literally on the water, the patio off the back door was a great place to hang out and relax. The owners really thought of everything and made it super easy. Wal-Mart and grocery within minutes of the cabin. My wife and I love golf and there are several within 30 minutes which we played, and they were amazing too! Overall 10/10, highly recommend! It’s exactly as pictured and described, and we will definitely plan to return.

Relaxing visit to this cozy, well apportioned cottage. Bathroom and two bedrooms are small but doable for 2 adults. Windows, views, and lake breezes did not disappoint!

The property was beautifully located right on Houghton Lake. Easy to locate and access. The guestbook was a great finish to this cute cottage that helped melt a lot of stress away!!

Loved our time here- we came in the middle of winter and the hosts had extra blankets in every room. There is everything you need here and the views can’t be beat. We’d love to come back!

My day was amazing just some relaxation and what better place than the property we stayed on we were made to feel like we were at home. Everything was in top notch shape. The stay was just gorgeous and we want to thank everyone for making our stay wonderful.

This is a cozy cabin, right on the lake. It was perfect for what we needed. Easy communications with the Host, she was very nice and accommodating. It was a great visit to Michigan and this cabin was a perfect home base.

I had the most wonderful and relaxing time celebrating my birthday with my friends on Houghton Lake. The view by the water was spectacular and the house itself was wonderfully inviting and cozy!

We had an amazing time at the cottage, it was very clean and well taken care of. We appreciated the small touches such as snacks, coffee and a bag of ice that was in the freezer. The decorations were beautiful and made the place feel very cozy. Bedding and mattresses very comfortable as well. We would definitely stay there again. Thank You

Lovely little place that couldn't be closer to the water! It was very clean and nicely equipped. The outdoor patio was great and we enjoyed the kayaks that were provided. Nicely decorated, too. Bedrooms and bathroom are small and we were a little tight with 5 adults, but all in all it was very nice.

Very clean and well appointed cottage. Smart use and design of a smaller space where our family of five felt very comfortable! The decor was very inviting and comfortable. Amenities were great and we very much enjoyed our stay!

Hosts attended to everything! Cottage was clean, kitchen was well stocked, neighbors were really nice too! We had an amazing view of Houghton Lake and enjoyed kayaking!

This charming cottage was perfect for myself and 2 friends. The weather eas rainy but cleared for beautiful sunsets. We even saw Northern lights. If the temperatures were warmer we would of kayaked. We had fun playing games, doing puzzles and takjng a day trip to Alpena. I would rent this cottage again when the weather is warmer to kayak and play in the lake.

The cottage was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. It was clean and had all the amenities of home. I loved the extras like provided Q-tips, coffee, and fans for sleeping.
