Almost Heaven Hideaway secluded 18+ acre creek, firepit, hiking, near ATV trails

The setting was lovely and the cabin in excellent condition. Owners put a lot of effort into making it welcoming. We enjoyed the area and appreciated their suggestions for activities and restaurants.

This was pretty good little cabin. With a really steep driveway, so anyone with a trailer watch out. Its not close to the atv trails, which was my fault for not checking the map but that is what we went for.

We enjoyed our stay, great location, beautiful grounds, peaceful and easy to relax.

Dawn, was amazing at communication, the place was amazing. I have to go back in a couple of weeks ans if this place is avaliable i would love to beek again. I absolutely recommend this quaint little piece of heaven.

We had a great time staying at this property and would consider it again. It was nice to see some wildlife in the morning and the evening. The wi-fi had to be reset many times to watch late night tv but not a huge problem. Overall, a great property to spend some relaxing time. It made a nice vacation for my wife and I.

Quiet, peaceful and secluded!!

Our stay here was enjoyable, my spouse and I were able to relax and have fun playing board games. The owner reached out ahead of time to warn us about the driveway with snow and I had not answered my phone but was glad to know that they were trying to resolve it. Thanmfhllg we were able to get

Very cozy cabin, I live in Wv working in Indiana it was a great escape to surprise my fiance with and get away for the weekend and enjoy rest and relaxation

Place is very clean and simple. Our 3 year old loves the loft and wanted to live here :).

Me and my wife had an amazing time at this cabin! It was clean, orderly, and above all, peaceful! We hiked to the train tracks twice during our stay (there's no marked trails that we noticed but was a pleasant trek through the woods regardless). The second hike we ended up sheltering in the tunnel for a few since we got caught in a small snowstorm which was a new experience for my wife. Being from Mercer County myself I prepared for a relaxing stay with not much to do. I was surprised at the increase in things to do since I left. Every time we left the cabin we managed to find something to do, Including the New Years festival on Mercer St. Our Host Dawn also had great communication and was willing to help with any problem that arose during our trip (One was my lack of reading and the other was completely unrelated car trouble). We would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone wanting to take a break and just relax for a few days and we will definitely be back for another stay as soon as possible!

Almost Heaven was the perfect little cabin for a short weekend away for an our anniversary! We loved seeing the deer come into the yard. We had everything we needed for our stay. Location was perfect for going ATV riding on the trails. We will definitely be back!
