🌄☀️ Our home tucked into 2 private wooded acres that is located mere minutes from some of the most fun you can have in the green mountains of Vermont! Our 4-bedroom cabin has 2.5 bathrooms with a beautiful wrap-around deck overlooking Smuggler`s Notch (5 min drive) and Stowe resorts (20 min). It has a large pool room in the game room as well as an oversized open living roomwith a sunken nook for entertaining or enjoying a wood fire in the evenings. Each room is well appointed and cozy with great views of the surrounding mountains and forest.

The best part is how much there is to do right from your front door!

🚵 Off-road biking at Smuggler`s Notch MTB center features 3 acres with 2 flat tracks, a single (10 miles) and double (6 miles) that are suitable for every rider no matter their skill level.

🏖️ All-day fun at the resort’s outdoor water park that includes half a dozen pools and a 30 foot tall, 300` long slide as well as a FunZone arcade and climbing center with lasertag for rainy days or after swimming

🌲 A 4,500 foot zipline that is right next door (3 min drive) Arbortrek Canopy Adventures with 2.5 to 3 hour canopy tree tours and rapelling adventures right

🥾 Amazing hikes from your doorstep to Sterling Pond, Spruce Peak, and beyond...the resort`s XC ski trail connects next to our property and is a great way to find some of the best hiking trailheads without needing to drive.

🥏 Championship disc golf - 3 courses! - are right down the street. Two of the 18 hole golf courses are ranked 6 and 8 in the world by the UDisc organization as best in class, one is in a wooded and technically challenging, setting `Brewster Ridge` while `Fox Run Meadow` is more wide open, each require about 2.5 hours to complete. There is a family friendly course `Village 9` that is shorter and great for kids (45 minutes).

After a full day outside, return to your private cabin overlooking the mountain — relax on the wraparound deck, fire up the grill, or challenge the family to a game of pool. With 2,036 square feet of living space, 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and room to comfortably sleep 8, Smuggler’s Trove is the perfect summer escape for families, couples, or adventure-seeking friends.

🌿 About Smuggler’s Trove

Our home is spacious, welcoming, and designed for gathering after big outdoor days. The main level features an open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining area that flows directly onto a wraparound deck with mountain and trail views — perfect for morning coffee or sunset dinners.

The living room is open with gorgeous mountain views and plenty of seating among the open living room, dining area, and sunken nook. There is an oversized smart TV (Samsung Roku) that has cable channels as well as plenty of streaming services or you can use your own. The entire house is set up with fiber-optic cable with 1G speeds both up and download; ideal for remote work or streaming with multiple devices.
The entranceway is underneath the deck into the game room and foyer, where our full sized pool table awaits as well as a classic VT staple, the cast iron wood stove that is terriific even for summer and fall nights.
The bedrooms are located (2) on the same floor as the living room along with a full sized tub/shower bathroom. `Sterling` includes a full size bed with private sliding door access to the wraparound deck, while the `Bootlegger`s Bunkhouse` is perfect for kids who are near to the living room and will enjoy dual twin beds and secure views of the forest.
The other (2) bedrooms, including the Queen primary room `Mansfield` and `Thomke`s Express`, are located on the top floor. There is a child/pet gate at the tops of each staircase for safety.

Whether you’ve spent the day biking downhill, hiking mountain ridges, or conquering zip lines, this is the perfect place to unwind.
