Stayed Sep 24, 2025Sweet, comfortable little cottage. Quiet, convenient location. Maude was very communicative and responsive to our needs. Very quickly took care of drying and sending us the clothes that we inadvertently left in the washing machine. Thank you!! Only issue of note is that the stairs leading to the bedrooms are very narrow and steep. Some stair treads would improve safety, as the steps are slippery if wearing socks.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025This was our first visit to Vermont, I would highly reccomend any of the Notch Lodges. Everything was just as pictured and described. The manager communicated extremely well the entire time. Private, quiet, clean, comfortable, and relaxing. We will be back!!

Stayed May 21, 2025OK, I love Vermont, so maybe I'm a little biased on the subject. But Blue Jay's Blue Chalet was exactly what my wife and I needed for a getaway with our pups.We loved the setting! Being able to sit on the deck and hear the birds and the river is incredibly relaxing, and it feels very private. Though the location might seem a bit out of the way, it's actually convenient to just about everything. An hour from downtown Burlington, an hour from Stowe and Waterbury, an hour from Hill Farmstead (the best brewery in the world). Great food and beer less than a mile away and plenty of local markets for groceries.It rained a bit more than usual for the season, so we appreciated the living room and TV for the evenings when we weren't outdoors. Being dog friendly enabled our whole family to vacation together!
