A Beach Dreamer's Retreat in downtown Avila Beach with Ocean Views

The property is five star!

A beautiful roomy home, great location with easy walk to beach, town, restaurants, hiking and biking trail. Kitchen is excellent, all appliances, cookware, utensils are perfect and the labelling of storage for all the kitchen items is superb. The 3 full bedrooms are excellent, comfortable and heave great storage and lots of hangers. The fourth sleeping room is minimal, with a murphy bed over a desk and little else and was not not comfortable for 2 adults for a week.

Family were able to come and go to the beach with ease. Great kitchen and barbeque. Lots of room and bathrooms.

All the ameneties are there and the kitchen is fully stocked with high-quality items. I didn't see any of the coffee pods they mentioned, but no problem as we brougth our own coffee.The management company was responsive throughout our stay.My only complaint is that for this type of property (high-end and high-price), little things should be better:1) the TVs in different parts of the house should be easier to use. Complicated instructions were hard to follow.2) the heater is maxed at 70 degrees. Most of the time, this should be fine for Avila Beach, but we were there in early January when the temperatures at night and early mornings dipped low. The house was cold at times, especially in the master bedroom on the main floor where the vents were shut and purposedly blocked from opening.

We tried to use the house for four couples, however, which was not ideal as the Murphy bed room is not set up for two adults. It would be better for a single or two children, as there is no room to maneuver and bath is downstairs. That said, we made it work and had a memorable stay.
