Great little house! The only drawback is the downstairs floor which has some cracks and bumps. When you walk in there is a stucker that says shoeless house- and the floor is not appropriate for shoelessness.
Based on proximity to the beach and convenience, this location was a dream. The sheets seemed to be clean but the overall condition of the home was filthy. They ask you to maintain a shoeless household but the floors were so gross. I don't know if the carpets have ever been vacuumed and the kids were sneezing all weekend. The dining and coffee tables had so many filth layers that even our clorox wipes didn't seem to make it clean. Layers and layers of dust and dirt on shelves, shutters, and window sills. We visit Catalina every year and understand that a beach home is never immaculate, however this was unacceptable. Looking back I should have refused keys until the property was cleaned to a more acceptable standard. We paid top dollar and I hope this encourages management/home owner to uphold a more proper standards for their guests.
The most ideal location for being close to the main strip. Catalina is beautiful and so is this balcony view.
Nice property
We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves immensely in Catalina at the large beach house.
home was dirty' toliet in hall upstairs loose' outdoor patio chairs old and brittle' one broke when a guest sat down' .... stains on bed pillows' blood on bed cover.. nasty stain on sheets..... i have photos if your interested' homeowner should fire you guys. next visit' we all agreed. metrolpole hotel. after 4 reservayions through your mgmt form' this was by and far the most dissappointing mgmt' that broken patio chair is a major liability' just saw previous post in 2017' same issue
The location is awesome and the lay out is wonderful for families. However, it’s disappointing that the maintenance is pretty awful! A “no shoe” sign on the door and yet the carpets were filthy and black electrical tape holding down flooring transitional strip. What a joke. The master bed mattress is super worn out, so beware. The other laughable item was the TP Holder in upstairs guest bath was held on by double sided tape. Lol We understand the end of the season, but your clients deserve better. No matter when they reserve. Lastly, the screens need total replacement.
Great location! Everything is within walking distance. House is clean. But furniture, appliances and deco is slightly older.
Property as described. Quaint, charming. Hard to find 3 bathrooms and enough beds for a family of 8. Very clean, except for the outdoor furniture on the deck. A touch up of paint here and there would really upgrade this property.
Also rented 203 Descanso at the same time. Had a marvelous time. Things that need attention: King bed in MBR needs to be replaced. It is terrible! Please have this fixed. Also, patio deck chair needs to be repaired. Broken when we arrived. Missed it. Also, Weber 18 BBQ not big enough for 8 guests. Please get 22.5 Weber..... big difference! We really want to come back next year with our family; but, would like these improvements complete.
Oven wasn't working, drain broken in master bath, sewage smell But great location and nice staff
