Stayed Oct 24, 2025We had a wonderful time at the City Hideaway. Michelle and her husband were so welcoming and very sweet hosts. They made our stay super pleasant. This was our first time staying in a tiny home and we loved it. The use of the van space was so well throughout. I would definitely recommend this location to others.

Stayed Sep 12, 2025Wonderful stay to experience Lancaster! We were able to walk (15-25min) to Central Market, some breweries and also catch a Lancaster Stormers game. Tiny had just the essentials that we needed and the instructional video was very helpful to get started!

Stayed Jul 13, 2025My husband and I had a great time staying in Tiny. The hosts were communicative and friendly and this being our first tiny home experience it was really unique and interesting. It was a little hard to find as the city of Lancaster has many one-way streets. It is definitely small. I don't think more than two people could stay in it comfortably. The efficiency of the place was really cool!

Stayed Jul 17, 2025This was just what I needed: a place to sleep within walking distance of the Convention Center and downtown (about 20 minutes). It worked just fine. The design of the van--in order to fit everything into the small space--was fascinating, and very well done.

Stayed May 25, 2025Located in a very beautiful part of Lancaster, not far from downtown, with plenty amenities nearby. Communication with the owners was smooth and they are very quick to reply. They even helped set up the fire pit for us. Very kind :)Tiny itself is, indeed, small. Best for up to 2 people. But everything is in top condition and very clean. Had a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay there again!

Stayed Mar 7, 2025The remodeled camper truck was perfect for our one night stay in Lancaster. It's tiny, but the owners have thought of clever ways to accommodate all your needs. We were able to walk to the downtown area easily. The host is really nice and sends you a nice welcome video showing you how to use all the modular features in the van.

Stayed Dec 11, 2024This was my first experience with a tiny home and was so impressed with how the space was maximized! It was so cozy and clean. The sound system was amazing, the bed was comfortable, and it was very soundproof. We felt like the world outside didn’t exist. The toilet was a bit different for us, but this wasn’t a big issue since we were only there for one night. We also got a tour of the wood shop, which was great to see how it all was made! Would recommend to a friend!

Stayed Nov 1, 2024The hosts were amazing Every detail was covered check in was a breeze. They were super accommodating and friendly. The tiny camper is exactly that and we loved it. It was extremely well designed and executed. It was super clean, and every detail was taken care of. What we did not like was it is definitely located basically in a parking lot of a city/urban area that I would define as “financially depressed“ So it’s not really relaxing we did not enjoy the campfire because my wife did not want to sit in the middle of the city with a fire lol you are definitely surrounded by people at all times. There is zero privacy. With that being said, it is extremely close and convenient to all kinds of great things. The city had a lot to offer! You cannot beat the price. It was well worth what they’re asking if not more. If I had any complaint other than the location, it would be the composting toilet. My wife definitely hated that. If you don’t know what a composting toil is and how it works, it can be very off putting and frustrating… We preferred to use public bathrooms before we came back to the truck itself. Overall, if you are young and looking for an adventure, this is great. If you are an older middle class conservative couple probably not your ideal place to lodge. But again we give the hosts a 100%

Stayed Oct 17, 2024I had a conference not far away so I was just looking for a place to crash for two nights. This place was better than expected! It was clean and smelled good. I don’t know if it’s the wood or something else, but there’s a nice clean smell inside. And the towels smell good too. Michelle was super attentive and sent a video before I arrived so I had the lowdown of how everything worked. Watch it! ? It’s a super cute and comfy place for one person or a couple. If you are arriving at night, keep your eyes peeled for the small lighted porch at the end of the driveway. ?

Stayed Sep 13, 2024Fabulous, flexible, perfect for a single a couple or even a mellow family of 3 with a well behaved child over 4 but small enough to sleep comfortably with mom and dad. I’m in love with Tiny, Tiny’s owners and Lancaster.

Stayed Jun 28, 2024This place is a hidden gem! Location is great for visiting Amish country and the surrounding areas. The van itself is super well-equipped and excellently built. The owners thought of everything, from bottled water and ice ready to go in the fridge/freezer, to firestarters, firewood, and bug spray for the outdoors. Michelle and Petteri were friendly and welcoming hosts, and they were sure to go over all of the unique features of the van upon check in. Definitely recommend and would stay here again if in the area!
