Incredible! Gorgeous views with plenty of privacy. The cabin was even nicer than the photos and well stocked for all our needs. The management company was professional and attentive. It was the perfect spot for a serene, relaxing family get together and we’re already discussing when we can all go back.

This place is beautiful. So peaceful and much larger than the pictures show. The views are unbeatable and it was great to just relax and disconnect from the world here.

The Good: One of a kind location. The Bad: The listing says 3 showers/bath. The master had a huge jacuzzi sized tub a shower head but no walls and capert in the bathroom- no way to run the shower w/o soaking the BR carpet so we just walked the three floors down to use the 1st floor shower. They also say wash b4 getting into the hottub, easy if you have baths you wash in.For a highend stay the mgt company could put a bit of money into it and make it worth the trouble for the location.

We really enjoyed this property. It had plenty of space for our crew, an ample kitchen to cook our meals as a family, and super close to Monarch where the skiing is great. We will be back.

This is an amazing property in the middle of the mountains. Seclusion was great and a little tricky to navigate. Property was one of the most uniquely placed and spacious we have been to and is super close to monarch ski area. Would def stay here again. Altitude sickness is a thing so prepare with oxygen and lots of bottled water. Closest stores are 20 min away.

This home is the snowy cabin we have always dreamed of. There really are no neighbors! It is secluded. My only hardship here was the altitude- which is not the fault of the property! (PS Go see Copper Kettle Apothecary in nearby Salida for an herbal remedy tea blend to help with this). Otherwise it was perfect! The house had everything you could want. We used all the humidifiers we could find. The house is HUGE! Two master bedrooms with their own bathrooms (on each wing of the 3rd floor), two normal bedrooms on level 1 that share a bathroom, two sets of washers and dryers, a toilet room off of the living room and kitchen on the 2nd floor, a balcony and also an indoor fireplace on 2nd floor. There is a snowmobile company that parks across from the property but they weren’t a nuisance to us. We even paid for a tour on them with the snowmobile co down the highway. The tour through the national forest was great - I would suggest haggling for a better price. This house is very close to monarch ski area. This is so helpful! Poncha Springs has the closest grocery store. Downtown Salida has the best old downtown charm and local unique shops. Back to the house, the first floor has heated floors! The kitchen contains several board and other games for families and some for just adults. Oh the hot tub! Cannot forget that after a long day on the slopes etc. I didn’t find any robes so you may wanna bring your own for getting out of the hot tub. But they do have towels.

Great place to relax with my kids and their grandparents. Grandparents loved sitting on the deck and watching kids canoo and catch fish below. Sleeping arrangements, kitchen, laundry all great spaces. Will definitely try to get a week in at the property again next year.

We spent a weekend here with our large family and would definitely return. There was enough room for everyone to spread out. The house is nestled in a perfect little spot with the most beautiful view of the water. Having all the activities available made it easy for everyone to connect and create unforgettable memories!
