Experience Boston from the unique perspective of your own floating home! Nestled in a protected marina in Boston Harbor, our houseboat is fully equipped with all the comforts and amenities of home!
The boat is fully air conditioned in the summer and heated during the winter. The covered front deck has a table and chairs and the sundeck above has outdoor seating. Free Wi-Fi is included in your rental. We are located in the Charlestown Marina. Please note the loft space listed as second bedroom is best suited for children ( although I have had adults sleep up there) because you can not stand up in the space due to a low ceiling.

Accessible via water taxi, car, or taxi. Walk to the USS Constitution, Bunker Hill , TD Garden and the North End. MBTA water shuttle is a short walk. UBER readily available. Parking is available but must be reserved ahead or spaces can be full.

Located in a very secure and gated marina, our houseboat is just minutes away from downtown Bostons' most popular attractions; Fanueil Hall/Quincy Market, the North End, the New England Aquarium, the Children's Museum and the Boston Convention Center. Our convenient location makes it easy for you reach points of interest.

Please note we charge a $59 damage waiver that covers you for accidental damage up to $1500. Homeaway calls this an administrative fee. Rates differ per season. Put your dates in for the accurate quote.
Travelling nurses please note. We rent our houseboats from November 1 to March 1 for $1500 per month plus electricity.

We had an amazing stay on this houseboat.. truly one of the most unique and relaxing experiences. It had absolutely everything we needed and more, making it feel like a home away from home. The setting was so quiet and peaceful, which was a perfect escape after busy days exploring Boston.Parking being included for a small fee was a huge bonus (anyone who knows Boston knows how rare that is), and from there it was an easy walk to the T, ferry, and bus, making getting around super convenient.I was a little nervous about staying on the water since I tend to get motion sickness, but I didn’t feel a thing the entire time. Honestly, it was a dream stay.. and we’ll definitely be back!

What a great way to spend a few night in Boston! Marina was easy to find and great parking! The greeter was extremely helpful with great tips around the area! Boat house was adorable. Everyone at the marina (staff and other guests) were all so very nice! Will stay here again! AC in the master needs a tune up - kind of on its last leg. But opening the windows for fresh sea breeze was very nice!

This was a great, great location! Very walkable to fun tourist attractions. I fell on the icy walk way down to the docks which sucked because I was laid up for 2 days. The shower is REALLY small and tight. The bedding and towels didn't smell fresh, like musty. Kitchen amenities could be better, bigger pots, dish sponges, etc. Lighting was terrible, we had to move lamps around to get decent lighting to work at night on our laptops. It was very warm and cozy with the basic heat. The check in was ok, but she verbally rattled all this info but because I was in pain, it was hard to remember it all. Biggest complaint is she mentioned a 'free shuttle but just vaguely pointed to a stop area and my family had to hunt for it as there is no map/signage ANYWHERE. She said it comes every half hour or so, that was NOT the case and never could get to actually use it. It would behoove the host to create a simple little map, pick up drop off times, photo of the actual shuttle (it looks like a medical/senior shuttle with no signage) so guests can easily find it on the property. They can laminate it and put it on the fridge. Also, she mentioned something about an insta cart option but again no specific information how to navigate that as guests. She rattled it off but written posted information would help with all needed info...zip code, address, etc. It just made it very overwhelming to have to dig this info up and not be able to figure it out as it's done differently where were from.

Our girls group enjoyed staying on this house boat. The marina is well situated to visit nearby attractions. Also, we had no trouble scheduling an Uber to pick us up from this location. The marina was safe as entry and exit was accomplished with a key fob. Also, we found the setting to be very peaceful and serene after a busy day in the city.

What a fun way to travel! Great little space that was different than staying at a hotel. Walking distance to several locations. Short uber ride to town or walkable (we did both). Sherry was very helpful getting us settled since we arrived late and Deb was very communicative. Make sure to let them know ASAP if your flight gets in after 8pm.

Fairly rustic accommodations but basic necessities were provided. Plenty of linens, blankets and towels. The loft was a bit of a challenge for a 6’ 70 year old female, but I slept well once settled. The kitchen was well equipped. The soap and shampoo dispenser in the shower was empty. The marina is quiet and very safe.

Wonderful location that is steps away from the freedom trail, harbor walk, and lots of the best places to visit in Boston—although the house boat is so comfortable you just might find yourself sleeping in and chilling out in the fully air conditioned and sleep inducing interior while door dashing in some tasty local eats (via a 2 minute walk to the closest pickup point).

This was such a lovely stay! The boat was very clean. Sherry, the property manager, made us feel welcome and had so much helpful information to offer. This location is very close to the ending of the freedom trail and walkable to so many famous sights. We were very comfortable and would definitely stay again!

It was easy to be a tourist in Boston staying here, while also retreating away to the boat for some R&R! The other boat residents were so kind and everything was easily accessible from the marina. Highly recommend staying here!

Family of four with two teen boys (who slept in the loft). We walked everywhere and used busses and trains, and had a great week in boston, and it was so nice to have the peace and quiet of the houseboat each night. Highly recommended if you are looking for something unique and awesome.

Great and enjoyable house boat for a couple or small family. There was some deferred maintenance (ie: clearing shower drain) and some missing kitchen gear, but otherwise very functional rental and fun way to be a house boat occupant and access to a host of Boston sites by land and water shuttle.

Very cute houseboat within walking distance of many historical sites. The marina is clean, quiet, and very secure. Communication regarding arrival and departure information was great! Coming off a cruise and the owner kindly allowed us to bring our bags early so we could walk around unencumbered. We were greeted by a very friendly person, Sherry, who gave us an orientation of the boat, marina, and surrounding area! Absolutely a repeat location!
