When you book your stay at MoJo Valley, you are guaranteed an enjoyable stay. Each reservation comes with one dozen farm fresh eggs from hens found on the property. The home comes with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa, as well as a full kitchen and bath. The home will be furnished with basic pantry items, a half gallon of milk, and orange juice. The nearest grocery store is approximately 15 minutes away and the nearest winery is just over a mile.
This home is located on our 21-acre, wooded property and our home is a short walk away (400 ft). While it is not visible due to the woods, we are available if needed. When you arrive, you will be given keys to the property and we will not bother you unless our assistance is needed. The cottage does not come with wifi or a television.
The home is located less than a mile-and-a-half from Blue Sky Winery and less than five miles from Owl Creek Vineyard. The Shawnee Hills Wine Trail is located just half-a-mile from the home.
I loved the quiet nd only being able to hear the birds. It was great to disconnect from the internet and TV. During my stay I can't think of one thing I needed that wasn't provided. I liked that there was a desk with a good light were you could draw or write at. It was alaso nice that there were nice pictures on the wall and some pottery - that made it feel homey and not sterile like some places I have stayed at. The hosts were very accomodating, friendly and easy to talk to. They were willing to help you if you needed but never bothered you. Coltrane, the dog, was awesome. Well behaved and he listened. Lots of good hiking near by and good wineries too. Make sure you go to their vineyard. They have some nice wines and a great deck out back. Blue Sky is another close one that has free music on the weekends. What could be better than a glass of wine and being outside?
We stayed at the cabin for two nights, in between sampling area wineries and hiking trails. It's a nice, cozy cabin, well maintained and provisioned by the hosts. The lack of cellphone service at the location was a big help in disconnecting, though if you need it in an emergency, it seems like a short walk up or down the road was all it took to get back on the grid.
Enjoyed this little slice of heaven! Wonderful getaway for a trip on the wine trail!! Highly recommen!!
We recently stayed at Mojo Valley for the second time. This experience was just as great as our first time. The property is in a great location near multiple wineries and hiking trails. It’s perfectly charming and well-stocked with extra features (like a dozen fresh eggs) that make your trip extra special. Thank you again for a great trip!
Loved the place and location.
I loved the location in the woods off a gravel road but not far from locations that we wanted to check out.
First, the owner was very accommodating considering it was soon after a big snow and I wasn't sure I would be able to get there even with 4wd. I was able to check in after confirming I could get there. The fresh eggs were very good, and that along with the oj and milk is a very nice touch. Great location, I can only imagine what it will be in a couple months with spring coming. The cell signal is very slow which was perfect for my unplugged retreat. I streamed audio with minimal interruptions, but video was a no go (Verizon). The only issue was I struggled with the key box both in and out. I hope to come back soon.
Really enjoyed our stay! Great location and a nice touch was eggs and juice! Thank you for the hospitality Angie Milner
The cabin was perfect. The space, amenities, and location were outstanding. I loved driving the country roads through the magnificent fields, woods and small towns never knowing what would appear over the next steep hill. Nice touch by the owners in providing farm fresh eggs, white tail deer and migrating hummingbirds for our stay. We'll be back soon.
We found this cabin unique of all VRBO that we have stayed before.
