South Hero Guesthouse with lake access and great sunsets

Was a beautiful, quiet place to stay on our trip as a couple. The hosts were fabulous.

The property is on Champlain Lake and we were able to use the kayaks. The area was very peaceful and we met the owner who helped us with some places to drive to north of the area. I would stay again, it was a nice clean house.

The guest house was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay and the location.

The kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of places for clothes. Extra pillows and blankets if we needed them. We met both of our hosts and they were very friendly and had ideas of where to eat, etc.

This guesthouse was remarkable. The kitchen was very well equipped; from the Keurig to the ice-maker/cold water! We so very much enjoyed meeting our hosts and our vacation in South Hero. Thank you so much, Perky and DonThe McKennerney's, Simsbury, CT

Perfect little house for our weeklong stay! Had everything we needed. Wanted to stay longer. Access to lake allowed us to enjoy some beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine in hand. Perfect proximity to everything we wanted to see and do in the area. Don and Perky were very welcoming and made the stay that much more enjoyable. We will be back!

This property is truly special. Staying in this lovely guesthouse for 2 weeks right at the shore of Lake Champlain was idyllic, relaxing and rejuvenating. The house has everything one would need, and is situated off of a lovely country road which provides lovely scenic walks. I felt welcome immediately by my hosts and cannot wait to return soon!

Very comfortable and quiet with large yard for our dog. Kitchen very well supplied. We were able to make our goodies for the meal.

Beautiful location, well maintained, quiet cottage. Cottage had everything we needed and was such a relaxing space. Sunsets on the lake were beautiful!

Comfortable cottage for a long weekend stay with our two dogs. The cottage was spacious, well appointed, very clean, and comfortably furnished. The yard was large enough to exercise our dogs and the street was quiet for morning walks. Best tip: go to The Blue Paddle for great food. Their motto is: it's all about the dog!

We couldn't have asked for anything better! Beautiful spot on Lake Champlain. Don and Perky were the perfect hosts. There was much to explore on the island plenty of time to relax. Thank you-Jeff and Catherine

Perfection!

Don & Perky provide a comfortable, warm, and welcoming space. My granddaughter and I enjoyed another vacation here. We took in the natural beauty around us and enjoyed the local community as well as trips to surrounding areas. We look forward to returning.

We were delighted in every way to arrive at this charming, and well appointed cottage. It was beautifully designed, and filled with everything anyone would need to feel at home, and from there enjoy all that Grand Isles has to offer, including private access to the lake and kayak. Been here the past few years and never grow tired of the place and area. Biking, water activities and just plain relaxing by the lake. Don and Perky are great hosts and maintain a beautiful property. We are glad to be able to share and enjoy with them.

The property was beautiful and so peaceful. We were familiar with the area and appreciated the easy commute to our local family. Everything we needed as staples was provided. And I appreciated the comfortableness of the furnishings. It felt like home away from home.
