Salida, every good thing those other great mountain towns used to be.

Overall great property and great location. We would have appreciated blinds on the lower windows in master bedroom. Also, the whole house was very dusty and needed a deep clean.

The place is awesome! Lots of space for a group, close to town, beautiful views - everything we wanted for our weekend!

The house and property were well suited for our multi-generation family, with plenty of privacy when desired and good communal space when we wanted to gather and visit. The rural setting belied the fact that we were only minutes from the heart of downtown Salida, and we enjoyed being close to the river and all the activities it provided. The property will only be more desirable to some when the on-site wedding venue is operational. The host was accommodating to our particular needs and easy to communicate with. We would recommend staying here.

Wonderful place for our multi-family trip! We had 4 adults and 5 kids, and there was PLENTY of space, great amenities, and a safe storage area for our bikes. It was also a quick drive or bike ride down the path to the downtown area. AND it was pet friendly with a fenced in yard! Lastly, communication from the owner was timely, clear, and easy — some of the best I’ve had with a rental! We had a great time and highly recommend!

Great house in a quiet location and within walking distance of town. Looked at the stars, listened to the geese flying by, watched the deer browsing (on the lilac!) in the front yard. Wonderful host and highly recommend this place for relaxation and peace.

This is a great house with lots of space indoor and outdoor. We did not do any cooking, I would say the kitchen is small and that might be difficult. The kitchen is well stocked, more so than other places I've stayed. The space to gather as a family is outstanding. You're very close to downtown, with some really excellent restaurants! Mount Princeton also not far! The beds were all comfortable. I'm sure we will be back!

Wonderful stay. Plenty of room for two families. The deck at night was amazing. Tony the host was just great. House was fully stocked.

Tony's house was great for our group of 8 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space. Tony was friendly and helpful. The location was nice and quiet, pretty close to downtown, biking distance from S mountain trails, and walking distance to public fishing access on the river just below the house. It did get a bit warm in the house late evenings in July but cooled down overnight. We did see a mouse while we were there but no droppings or evidence that it had been in the house a long time. We would consider staying here again.

Very relaxing, friendly environment. Tony is a great host. Love the views of sky & stars at nite from Master bedroom. Definitely lots of room.

Great place

We had a multi-generation group - from 30-90 yrs old and the house was perfect. It was huge and had plenty of room for everyone. The master suite was beautiful and had incredible views. It was nice to be outside of town with great views. But, also very close to enjoy any activities. Tony was an excellent, informative host.

Lovely home.

We loved this house so much! It's a beautiful location and a comfortable, well-stocked, inviting home. We almost didn't want to come home. We will be back. Tony was wonderful; it was an added treat getting to meet him.

Wonderful getaway close to Salida and Monarch! Everything was organized, clean, and comfortable! We highly recommend staying and enjoying Salida!

We had a great time, Tony was great with any questions we had and the place was perfect for our Ski Trip. 1/2 hr from monarch and only a hop skip and jump from downtown Salida. Would definitely stay again.

Great experience

We really loved the home. It was wonderful for our family regarding sleeping and bathroom accommodations, and going to the mountain to ski. Also just up the street from the house is a Park. Food prep was a little tight but manageable. We would come back again. The rental we have used over the past 12 years, our family has just outgrown.

High praise to Tony. Amazing location, very convenient access to downtown Salida. Horses on property which my kids loved. Minor negatives - smallish kitchen and many spiders around.

Was a great place to stay near the center of Salida as well as the base of cycling climbs out of town. Lots of space in this house and well kept.

Two grandparents, four parents, and four granddaughters and we still had an empty bedroom. Check-in was a breeze and the owner made everything easy. Had a great stay, thank you!

Accommodates 5 people, comfortably. If using all the bedrooms, some don’t cool down well at night. Excellent host.

Our family came from NC to explore the area and had a great trip and a comfortable stay at Tony’s place.
