Stayed May 30, 2023Super well maintained property with all the comforts of home. In a 350 year old limestone and brick farmhouse with beautiful views and flower gardens. We enjoyed hiking in the nearby mountains and swimming in the sea. The hosts are attentive.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969On arrival the Hideaway you can be assured of a warm welcome from the owners. Nestled in a beautiful valley is their stone farmhouse which has been lovingly converted into 3 luxury apartments. Oozing with rustic charm, yet boasting every modern convenience, tastefully furnished and well equipped. Start off by sitting in the beautifully manicured garden (a haven for wildlife and birds) and enjoy a glass of wine which will be waiting for you on arrival. There will also be enough groceries for your first few meals with Sarah’s home-made cakes to follow. Le Marche is not teaming with tourists. Here you can live like a local, buying wonderful fresh produce from the local markets and eating for very little in friendly family run restaurants. Do as little or as much as you want to – there are suggestions galore in the guide in your apartment. Any questions? - Don’t hesitate to ask - the owners live on site and are dedicated to giving you the best holiday experience ever. The countryside in this part of Italy will take your breath away. Drive around the deserted roads until you stumble upon one of the many charming hill top villages and step back to a forgotten time.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Having just returned from another wonderful holiday at The Hideaway, Amandola, I feel I must recommend it as a perfect place to relax in the beautiful countryside of Le Marche. The apartment was well equiped - we wanted for nothing - and Sarah & Mark were always on hand to advise us and give us information about the walks, sightseeing and the coastline - which is only a 40 min. drive away. At this spring time of year, the locals were busy ploughing the fields, the blossom was on the trees and everything a picture, green and fresh, but snow still remained on the tops of the mountains. Sarah & Mark also have a wealth of knowledge of where to eat in the area - great recommendations. I recommend it as a quiet relaxing place to stay but with many amenities around, with the true feel of Italy : the Italians are truly friendly people too.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We spent a wonderful week at The Hideaway in September. The location is breathtaking, the accommodation is comfortable and very well equipped and the hosts are marvellous. We were greeted with home baked cakes, a selection of herbs and vegetables from the garden and a bottle of wine. What more do you need? Sarah and Mark have gone to great lengths to make sure that you get the very best from your holiday and have created a wonderful home from home in Le Marche.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The Hideaway offered us a wonderfully peaceful stay in lovely surroundings. Our apartment was well furnished, and our hosts, Mark and Sarah, were beyond welcoming and helpful. We found the property's location perfect for access to all parts of the Sibillini National Park, as well as only a short drive to the marvels of Ascoli Piceno. We enjoyed eating at nearby restaurants recommended by our hosts, and eating home-cooked meals on our private terrace in the moon-light. And, in the heat of our visit, we were always grateful for the relief provided by a dip in cool water of the Hideaway's pool. We would certainly return on another visit.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The Hideaway is an idyllic spot from where you can enjoy the delights of rural Italy. The accommodation is very high quality and located in a very peaceful spot, with extensive gardens to relax in. It's relatively close to two towns for shops and restaurants; and accessible from several airports. The owners are on hand to provide help and advice; and you'll be made to feel very welcome (especially by Jess the dog as long as you throw her stick!). I had a very relaxing and delightful stay and would strongly recommend this accommodation.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Had the fortune to spend two weeks at the Hideaway and it was everything - and more - that we had anticipated. The apartment is one of the best equipped we've experienced and is situated in an absolutely idyllic spot amid the peace and quiet of the countryside. Mark and Sarah were perfect hosts and the goodies left in our apartment on arrival was most welcome. They were most informative of places to visit and nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool was fantastic and was an ideal place to cool off in the heat of the day. It was our first time in Les Marche and we enjoyed the experience and coupled with great accommodation made our visit to the Hideaway one to remember. Many thanks.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I loved staying at The Hideaway - beautiful landscape, lovely apartment, extremely nice owners. What I appreciated most was how we were looked after, with lots of information and cakes, eggs, olive oil etc! There are many things to do in the surroundings, good food, walks, etc.
