We had a wonderful time at the barn, a cozy, clean and fully equipped cottage surrounded by an incredibly beautiful garden. We felt warmly welcomed by the lovely and always helpful landlords. Its a good starting point for different activities like hinikg on the south west coast path, going on a boat trip in Dartmouth, visting the lost gardens of Heligan or relaxing at the beach of Beesands (which is dogfriendly). We totally recommend!

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Devon. Truly a little slice of countryside heaven. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cottage is beautiful, cosy, welcoming and full of character. Every room was spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed (and more!) for relaxed family meals. The location was perfect – peaceful and tucked away, yet close enough to explore nearby villages, towns, crabbing, beaches and a local farm shops. The children loved the garden, with the swings and treehouse. We enjoyed our mornings with a cup of tea in the garden were idilic. The hosts were absolutely lovely – thoughtful and responsive. You can really tell they care about creating a memorable experience for their guests. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of when we can return. A true gem. I highly recommend!

Lovely cottage and huge dog friendly gardens. Great base for walking, we walked from the cottage to Dittisham and got the ferry to Greenway then continued to Kingswear to get ferry to Dartmouth. Only suggested changes we'd make would be blackout curtains as outside lights shone through, and tea and coffee to be provided, everything else was great.

Overall the cottage is very nice and we had a comfortable stay. The cottage is in a good location to tour the South Hams and is peaceful and quiet. We felt some of the facilities were a bit outdated and tired, with a few upgrades to the details like fresh new crockery, a decent sharp knife, coffee machine and music player upgraded to the 21st century it would be a bit more wow for a 5 star from us.
