WHAT GUESTS ARE SAYING
The cottage was awesome, located in between Holland and Grand Haven. It was a short drive to different areas for hiking or shopping, and a short walk to the beach or Lake Michigan. We loved the property and we loved how cozy the cottage was. Even during rain days, there was plenty to do inside including board games and movie nights. I would recommend this cottage to anyone, AND I would recommend Unsalted to anyone as well. They are very kind and easy to maneuver things with. There were no issues at all.

REVIEWS
This is a great property with plenty of space and everything you need for a comfortable stay next to Lake Michigan. You're just a short walk and some stairs away from Lake Michigan (and fantastic sunset views), and the property itself is nestled between Holland to the south and Grand Haven to the north. The house itself is clean and well maintained, comfortably furnished, and offers plenty of room to relax, cook meals, and hang out. While we didn't get to use the patio because of the weather, when it's warmer out, there's plenty of room to take all of that outside with a grill and seating on the deck. The property team was also super helpful in getting ready for our stay, and instructions arrived in a timely manner and were very clear. When I had an issue accessing something online ahead of my stay, they responded quickly and effectively and I never once had any concerns about our stay and the check-in and check-out processes. Overall, we loved our stay here and would highly recommend this place for a getaway to Lake Michigan.

Stayed here during a girls weekend and it was perfect for our group. Very clean and spacious. The views of Lake Michigan from the beach area are amazing. The walk to the beach is steep, but not too bad. A local gave us advice to bring aqua shoes or socks to the beach to deal with the hot sands. Overall, great and would recommend.

House was well furnished and very clean. Beach access is just a very short distance down the road. Had the beach almost to ourselves for our whole stay. Highly recommended!

The property is ideally situated between Holland and Grand Haven, offering convenient access to both communities. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, and the setting felt exceptionally private—almost as if we had our own secluded stretch of shoreline. The home was accurately described in the listing. Beds and linens were clean and comfortable, and both the kitchen and bathrooms were well-maintained. All appliances functioned properly, and we experienced no issues throughout our stay. The only area that could use attention is the flooring in the kitchen and high-traffic areas, which would benefit from a deep cleaning. The bedroom floors, however, were in good condition.Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would gladly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, well-located home with excellent beach access and a high degree of privacy.

It was wonderful to come into the cottage for the first time and see that it was not only as open and airy, clean, and tastefully decorated as the photos, but it was even better than expected. The proximity to the beach and the setting in a quiet wooded neighborhood make it the perfect getaway.

Very hot on upper level and way too cold in lower level. Bathrooms very dated. Kitchen also dated, but well equipped. Nice location being a short walk to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the beautiful autumn colors of western Michigan. The house was clean and well prepared for our group of 5, including children. The basement was a bit chilly, so bring an extra blanket to make sure you are warm!

We had a good time here. Nice deck for cookouts, short walk down the dune to the beach. Place itself could probably use a little bit of updating and we found a couple empty beer bottles from previous guests but overall a good vacation rental.

We had a lovely stay with our family at this rental. Pictures are accurate of the house. The only thing that isn’t really clear/accurate is the access to the beach. If you aren’t physically fit you will not be able to get safely down to the beach- it’s a bluff with sand covered stairs part way down then you have to make it down sand dune unsupported the rest of the way. Due to the high water levels there isn’t a large amount of beach but plenty to lay in the sand and play in the clear water. There are chairs at the top of the bluff so you can have a nice view of the water and sunsets.

Everything was great, especially your Team. The only drawback was access to the beach. The shifting sands made it difficult to get down, and almost impossible to get up the path. We only went down once. We feel that a warning sign needs to be at the head of the path. We suggest letting your Guests know that Windswept beach is less than 5 minutes away. I wish that we would've spent one more day. Thank you for your interest.

Stayed at this property with 4 total guys on a weekend golf trip. Cabin was as expected. Not a modern and updated property but was just what we needed for the trip. Really enjoyed the proximity to the beach, less than a minute walk. Quiet neighborhood and close to Grand Haven and American Dunes golf course.

Overall, pleasant stay. We had a nice relaxing weekend. Management was very responsive and helpful. The picnic table and grill need some maintenance, and the beach access is not great. My elderly mother had a great deal of difficulty down and up the hill. Had to use local parks for beach access. They were a little further away, but not too inconvenient.
