Tenderfoot Cottage Is A Jewel Located In Downtown Salida.

The cottage was the perfect place to explore Salida. Only a few minute walk from downtown. It was nice being able to walk to the bars or grab a morning coffee. We had an issue with the heater in the unit, but Beth and her husband were quick to respond and get it resolved. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway.

The little house had everything you would need. Nice town lots of trails. We will be back!

The cottage was nicely decorated sort of 40's style...LOVED IT! Bed very comfortable. So many neat amenities. Flowers in patio area were breatakingly beautiful!Would love to return!!

We enjoyed our cozy stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable! We especially appreciated being so close to everything. It was nice to park next to the cottage and then walk everywhere.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay over the long weekend. The cottage has everything you need in a small package and the location is unbeatable. I highly recommend it for couples who plan to spend a lot of time downtown. 5 minute walk from the heart of things, letting you eat, shop, browse the art galleries and enjoy the river park on foot.

The location is on a quiet alley access with no parking restriction. The cottage is small but has all the necessities for a comfortable stay. It is in walking distance to many popular attractions.

Beth and Dave were great hosts and accommodated our needs! Their cottage was great for our two-night stay in Salida. Everything needed to cook dinner was available, and the location near downtown and grocery stores was amazing. Parking and check in were convenient and easy. Finally, their back yard was a wonderful place to eat and relax outdoors. We’d stay with Beth and Dave again!

From the moment we entered Tenderfoot cottage we felt like we were welcomed to Salida. Dave and Beth are the best hosts ever. They greeted us and from that moment we knew they were there, but only appeared if we needed them. Their garden was so relaxing for coffee or afternoon rest as we planned our next day. Everytime we sat there we saw more interesting art work hidden amongst the flowers. Salida is a great place to explore we walked the river walk and took a couple of hikes just outside of town.Kitchen has everything needed to cook or bake. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Cozy comfortable place! Enjoyed our stay in Salida. Rode bikes, played golf, and walked around the downtown area. Had everything we needed to cook breakfast every day and even supper twice. Loved drinking coffee in Beth’s garden in the morning. As for the AC, it worked just fine. My spouse is hot natured so we always travel with a small fan and extension cord. We easily placed it on our ice chest in the kitchen to blow cold air into the bedroom. Plenty cool! Bed was very comfortable and so were the two chairs. Thanks Beth and Dave for sharing your cute cottage with us! :)

Got there, the place had a window unit that was inadequate, suffered through one night of ridiculous heat, left without staying the second night. Host refused to acknowledge the AC was inadequate, insultingly told me we were just having problems with the altitude, pretty much blew off the problem. Refused to refund the second night - I was even willing to pay for the first night. The place is basically a tool shed behind their house, sort of dirty, stay somewhere else.

Great cozy location basically downtown. Easy 1 block stroll to the heart of Salida. Will stay again if available.

We were very comfortable in this cottage for 2 nights. Easy walk to downtown to enjoy dinner and the a walk along the Salida Riverwalk to watch the sunset. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot and had a really nice water flow and showerhead.

We had an excellent stay. It is the perfect size for 2 guests. The king size beds are rare in vacation rentals so this one was a special treat. The location can’t be beat. So close to downtown. I walked back and forth multiple times a day.

The house was small, but that was ok for our short stay. The garden was beautiful and relaxing!

The property was very cute, and it's located in a great area that is an easy walk to restaurants and the park. We took advantage of the shared patio while eating breakfast. We'd love to stay here again.
