The cottage sits on a lovely sandy gravel beach and provides water access for kayaking, and exploring the sea. Outside the property has an open deck and a covered screened-in breezeway with a northern view of the Raccoon Cove. A short walk away and you will have an outstanding vista of Frenchman's Bay andCadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. Relax by a fire pit area in the back yard while enjoying the breeze by the shore. The property is also centrally located in Lamione and is close to all of its amenities, just 4 miles from Marlboro Beach, 2 1/2 mile from freshwater swimming at Bloomfield Park on Blunt's Pond, and walking distance from Lamoine State Park, and beautiful Lamoine Beach. All saltwater sites provide boat access to Frenchman's Bay. Both portions of Acadia, (Mount Desert Island and the Schoodic Pennisula), and Bar Harbor are within a 20-25 minutes. Ellsworth is within 10 minutes for easy access to groceries, gift shops, restaurants, movies, and even LL. Bean.
