Stayed Jul 1, 2024Great location. Well equipped cottage, but not as cosy and comfortable as we expected. We felt it was a little under maintained and tired. In need of some TLC. Although the kitchen was well equipped, many thing’s didn’t match, some of the pans and crockery needed replacing. Very dark and drab.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lovely cosy little cottage in a beautiful location! The kitchen was well equipped (we knocked up a roast dinner for four) and the beds are super comfy! Pretty views across the churchyard and plenty of dog walks straight from the door. We LOVED the woodburner. Great value for money, will be back!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Cottage was lovely and clean. 2 minute walk onto the high street. Close to all amenities. Kitchen well stocked. Didn't use the shared garden, but courtyard is very small, wasn't suitable for our dog, but could be for others.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The cottage was very cosy, comfortable and traditional and we enjoyed relaxing there after walks in the very beautiful surrounding area. It was very nice to have the teabags and biscuits on arrival. Thank you.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Ruffles cottage was ideally placed centrally to the village although just tucked around the corner so most of the time it was very quiet. One thing to bear in mind is that you are very close to the church. The bells of the church are quite loud and go on through the night. We don't mind this but some people may have an issue with this. The cottage is so warm and cosy and having a small back yard would help with the Summer months as you could keep the back door open for a nice breeze.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Beautiful location backing on to the church in the lovely village of Dunster. The cottage is fine for 2 people - small, lived in, but cosy. Well equipped kitchen. Great to have a bath as well as a shower. Street parking outside only.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The bar in Luttrell Arms is most welcoming and the food we had was excellent. The Castle and grounds is a must.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969An excellent cottage in a convenient location in a pleasant town. The only drawback being the difficulty in finding a parking space, especially at weekend s.
