Stayed Jan 3, 1We had a wonderful time in this charming hobbit home. It was beautifully cosy, and the scenery was incredible. Sitting in the hot tub surrounded by snow was fantastic! Everything went smoothly during our visit and there were no problems at all. A really great place to stay and we will definitely be booking again in the future.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had a wonderful stay at Rabbits View from start to finish. Driving up and seeing the accommodation nestled into the hillside was such a special first impression – it immediately felt peaceful and secluded. The hot tub was a real highlight, perfectly positioned to take in the views and unwind properly. Everything was exceptionally clean and clearly very well cared for, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. One of our favourite touches was the bath overlooking the hills – such a luxury to soak while enjoying that incredible scenery. Every detail felt thoughtfully done, and it made for a truly memorable stay. We would absolutely recommend Rabbits View and would love to return.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had THE best Christmas in rabbits view. We were here in the summer and the kids begged us to book it for Christmas( doesn’t always happen with 9yrs/12yrs &15yrs!) The cosiest, comfiest place ever. The hobbit houses have a very special feel to them you get a bit of a fuzzy feeling on arrival! The Christmas lights on the outside were gorgeous, we spotted them coming up the road. Rhayder and the Elan valley are stunning, amazing to visit summer or winter. The boys loved being out there on their bikes. We CANNOT wait to come back, already looking at dates! Holds a special place in our hearts now! Laura, West Sussex

Stayed Jan 3, 1I booked this for my sisters hen do, and it was magical, she is a massive LOTR fan and pulling up to our hobbit hole was just perfect!, it was so cosy…the bath in bedroom was such a gorgeous touch ! One thing we did think was a small side table by the tv sofa area would have been great as we did a cheese board and watched a film so just somewhere to put this with drinks would have been great. Other than that minor thing it was just spectacular, waking up and seeing the cows and sheep on the hills was just incredible. We will definitely be booking again!

Stayed Jan 3, 1We stayed at Rabbits View for 3 nights in October. The view is incredible and the outdoor space to enjoy the view is perfect! This is really what you’re paying for when staying here. The property itself, although quirky and cool, is not the most comfortable and without the view and outdoor space, I wouldn’t say worth the price tag unfortunately. If the weather was not great and you had to retreat inside, it wouldn’t make for a cozy and comfortable stay. It would also be great to have some information available at the accommodation for guests, there was a QR code which may have had this but it kept saying ‘unavailable’. Lovely touch with the fire wood readily available to use, the goats joining us each morning, and the highland cows in the bottom field! The hot tub was also fab and a lovely temperature, set to look at the amazing view over the countryside. I have already passed on the link of the accommodation to 5 people who have asked after seeing our pictures! We would stay again, but only for the peace and quiet and view, so would likely look at a cheaper property on the site.

Stayed Jan 3, 1Had a lovely break in rabbits view, the hobbit hole was brilliant, very clean and comfy. Really clear instructions to check in and appreciated the tea, coffee and milk left for us to use, and the waffles! Would definitely recommend as it was a very peaceful relaxing break. Very easy to find using Google maps too and nice and close to drive down to the town. Overall we had a brilliant stay.

Stayed Jan 1, 1I have been following the properties on Instagram for a while! We bit the bullet and booked a long weekend for the 5 of us!! A 7hr trek for us from the south coast but well worth it!!! The property was beautiful, the decor, the view, the amenities!!! Such a cool place to be, we didn’t want to go out and explore Rhayder its was too nice to leave behind!!!!! We did however go for a fab pub dinner at the crown and my boys and hubby went on a super cool bike ride trail!!! The highland cows were adorable and the goats apparently in the garden while we had a bbq was hilarious!!!! We were so sad to leave and cannot wait to come back, best weekend ever!!!!!! Laura Duke

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had a truly lovely 4-night stay at Rabbits View. The setting is wonderful, with incredible views, and the quirky accommodation made it great fun. Our two young daughters thoroughly enjoyed it. The only suggestion I would make is to update the kitchen equipment. Some items were limited and in need of replacement, for example, the frying pan was badly scratched and starting to show signs of rust. The property is advertised as luxury, but the kitchenware felt quite basic and a little tired. This wasn’t a major issue for us, but it could be for others. That said, the place itself is beautiful, full of character, and in a stunning part of the world. I would highly recommend it, and we look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

Stayed Jan 1, 1Lovely stay for two evenings. We stayed with our 6 month old baby. Amazing facilities including a clean and comfortable cot was provided. The hot tub was great and everything was very clean. We loved the goats coming to visit in the morning. We decided to visit the Elan Valley. Definitely worth a visit. The town was a 5 minute drive away. Plenty of shops, pubs and nice walks around. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

Stayed Jan 1, 1the views are amazing the hobbit holes are like a film set its beautiful, the hot tub was amazing being able to look out at the welsh country side, i personally didn't like a bath tub in the bedroom it was right in front of the doors which was a little awkward but im sure some people would love the bath tub, it was clean all through, we brought some logs for the fire but there wasn't a grate to cook any food out doors shame but we really really enjoyed ourselves it is expensive but in my opinion worth it i would come back again

Stayed Jan 3, 1We celebrated my sister’s 40th birthday by visiting wales and staying at Rabbits view. Accommodation was beautiful, a perfect location and unique. The underground house was very comfortable, had everything you needed and the views were stunning. Although we had an amazing time some of the furnishing need replacing, the washing up bowl and kitchen bin were both split & missing some plastic. The towels that were supplied were stained which appeared to be bleach stains. Some of the kitchen utensils were very used and the frying pan - everything stuck to it. But this would not stop me from recommending Rabbits very or rebooking, just would be nice for a few replacement's.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had great time here. It’s difficult to capture all the beauty of this place. You have to be there & see it for yourself. So peaceful & lovely. My parents were so happy. I wish I had booked longer holiday there.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed at Rabbits View for our “mini moon” and it couldn’t have been better! The location was easy to find and only a short drive from Rhyader which has a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. The accommodation itself is nestled in the hillside and although other properties on the site surround it, it has such a private feel once inside. It’s beautifully finished with a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom. The hot tub is and extra treat after a long day walking around the Elan Valley reservoirs which are a 5 mile drive away. We had the best weekend- despite some wild weather and will definitely be returning!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed here for a very small hen party celebration (4 ladies) and utterly loved it. The finish of the property was outstanding, everything was of incredibly high quality. The hot tub was brilliant - always super hot and a great size. Good amount of cooking utensils etc in the kitchen. Peaceful location and you don't really notice the other guests nearby that much. An absolutely genius idea for accommodation and such a creative and unique stay. Only slight negatives: The towels and bedding in a couple of the rooms smelt a little bit musty. You have to walk your own rubbish down to the bins at the end of the stay, which is fine if it's not pouring down with rain, but obviously not ideal if it is (which it was for us!) The hot water system doesn't allow enough hot water to actually fill the bathtub in the bedroom.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We went away as a group of Lord of The Rings fans and the accommodation was perfect! There was more than enough space for 6 adults and for all to be comfortable. The accommodation itself was in pristine condition, plenty of facilities to cook and good fridge/freezer space for a full house for two nights! The location was stunning! Very short drive or taxi ride into town where we had a lovely breakfast. We will absolutely be returning. Glowing reviews from all who joined me! Thank you so much :)
