Stayed Jan 1, 1Lakeside is a gem. We had a lovely family long weekend to celebrate my birthday. The property is warm, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped with everything you need and more! Andrew was very helpful and friendly. Games room an excellent addition to Lapwing! Hot tub and views stunning. A treat to see the baby calves in the field. We wish Andrew and Kate all the success they deserve

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We booked this lodge for a tenth anniversary celebration for our son and daughter in law, we needed four double bedrooms ideally with a bathroom each and a hot tub and log burner. Lakeside lodge ticked all the boxes so we booked it, but the reality was so much better than we expected. Excellent quality utensils and appliances, comfy beds and underfloor heating All the sofas were comfortable and felt like home, a very rare thing in rental properties.. Beautiful views and a great little town to explore just a few minutes drive down the road. We will be back for more celebrations or just time to recuperate.
