Pet Friendly - Walk to the Beach, Cozy Home

Enjoyed our stay as much as the 1st time will most definitely be booking again!

This rental was very nice close to the beach and the neighbors were friendly as well. The rental was very clean and well kept would highly recommend renting from them.

Pros 1. The cleaners seemed to do a good job. The house was pretty clean. The only thing we noticed was trash under the couch and between the couch cushions and the dishes in the cupboards were dirty/rusty. 2. The beds and couches are very comfortable. The furniture worked well for our family with the bunk beds. We did need more bedding. The beds only had a sheet and thin bedspread. Cons 1. The water quality in this home/area is terrible. The water smells very bad and leaves an odor on your skin. The property has what looks like a water softener system, but either it is not working or is not enough. We did not feel like we were able to get a good shower the whole time and had to brush our teeth with bottled water. 2. Much of the home needs repair, the doors won’t fully open from hitting the floor, a cabinet door is missing, lots of the fixtures are rusted, the deck has nails sticking up and needs paint/repair, paint is peeling from the walls in the bathroom, etc. 3. It is also not “near” the beach. It’s at least a 1/2 to 2/3 of a mile walk. So we had to drive to the beach. Overall, it met our needs but we were not that comfortable. We would not recommend this rental unless the water issue is resolved for sure and many repairs are made.

Super cute house. House and kitchen were fully equiped for what our family needed. Great location away from the traffic but close enough to hear the waves and a short drive to the beach. Splash pad and fishing nearby.

Great wil most definitely do it again

We loved our stay at this beach house! It was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing couple of days by the water. The location was perfect—just a short walk or drive to the beach. The host was wonderful and always quick to respond to any questions we had, which made everything so easy. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful beach getaway!

We've been to Surfside a few times, but this place was a blessing! When we first walked it the whole house was chilled and looked even more amazing than the listing pictures. It's an amazing place to book for a beach get away! Definitely will book again in the future!

Our stay at Cassion Cottage was awesome. Our host Hannah was wonderful. Our place was so fresh and clean. Two nice size restroom and clean. We will be back!

Was overall a good stay, only issue would be the water smelled muddy.

Very nice and comfortable

The only reason I marked cleanliness as a 4 was due to the dishes... most were dirty or were rusted. Other than that, the house was nice and in a good spot. The owner accommodated us by letting us check in early. Communication was very prompt!

This little beach house was perfect! Great location! Quiet, clean, friendly neighbors and within walking distance to the beach and park! We loved this home!

Great home for a quick stay in the Surfside area! Not too far from the water or local eateries/ businesses. Host was able to accommodate a later checkout time as well. Overall very pleased :)

Great location,very clean. Disappointed there wasnt any information on local attractions and resturaunts. Limited outdoor seating, two wood chairs without cushions. No covered area to sit. No outdoor dining area. Basic kitchen amenities but no baking pans (cookie sheets, etc). Charcoal grill, no charcoal or tinfoil so we did not use grill. Owner did respond quickly to issue with front door (would not open all the way because floor/doorway warped or settled) but unable to resolve by just pushing door all the way open.charcoal or tine foil so did not use

Wonderful weekend for a destination wedding! All the family had different VRBO places and ours was the cleanest!

Mosquitoes were terrible until lawn was mowed (too wet) other than that good trip. Left a bbq pit for future guests

We had a great time. We had a problem with toilet and with tub being stopped up. We reported it immediately. We got taken care immediately. The only complaint was a water hole that was a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

No lights in carport area, lots water at bottom of stairs. No towels,microwave was dirty and floors was sandy.

Everything was great and the owner, Hannah, was very quick to respond and checked on us thoughout our stay.

House was clean and close to the beach.
