A fabulous little cottage, spotlessly clean, well located, had everything we needed for a cosy getaway, and a super-comfy bed.

Comfortable, cosy and very nicely presented. The beds were the most comfortable we've had in a holiday home. The cottage was a good walking distance from the village centre and the host was very helpful and friendly. The cottage was ideal for the 3 of us and our dog.

We had such a wonderful stay. Tracey was an amazing host, with excellent communication from start to finish, and even while we were there she replied instantly whenever we had a question. The cottage was absolutely perfect for our family of four and our dog. It was modern yet cosy, with a beautiful kitchen diner and a lovely lounge featuring a wood burner that made the place feel super toasty in the evenings. The smart TV was a great touch too, ideal for catching up on our favourite shows after a day out.The cleanliness really stood out, the house was spotless, which we really appreciated. The beds were so comfortable, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious.Although we didn’t use the garden much, it was lovely looking out over the open field and seeing dog walkers go by. The location couldn’t have been better either, just a short stroll into the village, which has everything you need. We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at The Ollerod and would highly recommend it.If this were a hotel, it would easily have five stars. We’d definitely love to come back and stay for longer next time.Thank you so much Tracey, your home is incredible xx

A very well equipped and lovely cottage in a nice area of Dorset. Had all we needed for a relaxing stay after being at Camp Bestival. We found the cottage deceptively spacious with the handy snug for parents while the kids watched tv in the kitchen diner.A lovely outlook over the fields from the garden. The cottage was clean and modern, we will definitely be thinking of using it again when we visit Dorset.

We loved everything about the property. Perfect for our family of 3 (and our dog). The property was clean and centrally located. Loved nice little touches through out the property that made it more cosy. The welcome pack of bread, cookies, tea and milk was a huge relief (and much welcomed) after a long drive. Overall, very memorable holiday and a great place to stay. Highly recommend.

The cottage has all the facilities you might need, and the Welcome Box of goodies was a nice touch. The heating came on morning and evening and warmed the cottage very well. We didn't need to use the log fire. The Spar shop, located a minute's walk away, was very useful. I can recommend this accommodation to anyone thinking about a holiday to short break in Dorset.

The cottage had everything we needed. The back garden looked out over a field and was secluded. So many walks nearby and not far from the beach. The local pubs and cafes were very welcoming and all dog friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely comfortable spacious cottage in a great location for making the most of the many local walks in the wonderful Dorset countryside. Good accessibility to the local beaches and other attractions in the area with the delightful Beaminster town centre only a short walk away from the cottage. The pretty garden was an unexpected bonus and perfect for relaxing in at the end of the day. We really enjoyed our stay and are keen to come back !

Arrived at Martock Cottage for a much needed break. And the cottage was perfect right down to the welcome hamper and treats left for my dog! The cottage is beautiful and felt so comfortable on walking in. Tracy and family clearly care a lot for the cottage and have kitted it out perfectly… you can tell that they love staying there too. Great for just chilling out and for exploring the local area and beaches. We had a great time thanks! x

We're a family of four and stayed for a week. The access was easy with the provided code for the key. The cottage provides everything you'll need for self-supply. Even a supermarket with customer-friendly opening hours is nearby. The cottage is well located for trips around the region. The communication with the host was excellent and always quick. An accommodation to recommend.

Matlock Cottage is a lovely everything you need is there beautifully decorated throughout. The only thing that let it down was we coukdnt use the outside cushions as they were dirty where they possibly have been left out and garden table needs replacing as a bit rusty but otherwise great cosy place and helpful host. 10 /10
