Dorset Croft - a country cottage in beautiful West Dorset

Scenic and secluded. A great base for exploring west Dorset. Gareth and Suzanne were very welcoming and the flat was spacious and well equipped for our stay. Loved the outdoor space for enjoying the sun and stargazing.

My wife, dog and I spent a lovely week at Dorset Croft. The location is fantastic with beautiful sights, walks, and villages nearby for a true English experience. The hosts had everything down to the detail, and you were never at a loss looking around for things, as everything was neatly organized and prepared. The cleanliness of everything was much appreciated as well.

The cottage is far nicer than the pictures show . It is nice , comfortable , plenty of space and of a very high standard. Lovely & clean inside and the outside area. Lovely rooftop seating area to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. A welcome pack not just for us but also the woofers. Lovely touch with dog beds, throws and a basket of towels if needed. The host are first class and helped with a medical situation, so thanks for your kindness. We will certainly be back , as first class accommodation . Thanks.

This house is beautiful and lies in a remote and quiet valley. We realley enjoyed everything about it, especially the morning coffes in the sun on the roof terrace with just the sounds of all the birds and the waterfall in the valley. Highly recommended for nature lovers!

A very spacious, clean and well equipped property. The hosts provided us with a lovely welcome pack. Local pub “The New Inn” served delicious food. A great base to explore the local area.

Beautiful annexed cottage in visually stunning countryside. Upon arriving, a really thoughtful welcome pack was awaiting! Gareth and Suzanne have thought of every home comfort that you would need. The spacious kitchen, the beautiful homely lounge and dining area, a beautiful modern bathroom with a powerful shower! And lastly, a huge bedroom with an amazingly comfortable bed!! Perfect !!!!

We loved the property. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The dogs were well looked after with towels, treats and beds to use and we loved our treats too. Dorset Croft was a great place to walk from and we followed the Jubilee Trail in both directions from the property. We would love to return again in the not too distant future.

A very comfortable and well equipped holiday home. Loads of space, comfortable bed, good sized kitchen. The owners supplied local milk and a variety of other local items like honey and cider which were very welcome. The location is nice and quiet with great views from the terrace and well located for the coast and also inland attractions. Everything you need for an enjoyable break.
