South Hero, Vermont
Our families and children have enjoyed this summer 'camp' for many years. The beach is sandy and the views of the open and clean bay are A+! We welcome your family to enjoy it as well and build your own 'summer camp' memories. Our cottage is well maintained and very beloved. We have intentionally kept it a "lake camp" and enjoy the family history and nostalgia that comes with it. Wireless Internet is available at the cottage.
The kitchen is open to the living and dining area (separated by a breakfast bar). The kitchen has all the necessities for cooking and baking; propane gas grill is on the deck for your use and enjoyment! There is an oversized picnic table and a round deck table for your meals; looking out over the Keeler's Bay.

Camp served us well. Enjoyed being on the water and watching the sun rise. Thank you!
Property was perfect for a lake retreat. Beautiful lakefront location and close to town center. Enjoyed the Adirondack chairs to relax in by the lake. House was well equipped and would definitely stay again!!!
Very nice, quiet and relaxing. Close to restaurants and small grocery store.
We rented this for a family weekend over Labour Day as we attended a wedding. We were disappointed with the swimming - the shore is quite rocky and sharp underfoot with zebra mussels so swim shoes are a must. We didn’t know that so didn’t have shoes. We would recommend that information be included in the listing. It was also quite weedy which I think was a problem everywhere this year. We did enjoy the kayaks that were left for us. The deck and lawn with picnic table and hammocks and barbecue is perfect for a family gathering. The inside of the cottage is cute and worked well although it can be noisy since the walls do not go all the way up to the ceiling for the bedrooms. They do for the bathroom! And it is carpeted throughout - even in the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom has been freshened up and is quite nice except for the shower which does need attention. It was a bit mouldy. The beds were very comfortable and lots of good air circulation with ceiling fans and cross ventilation. To contact the property manager you need to text. Apparently emails through the app are not seen easily (the property manager told us). We didn’t figure that out right away so were not able to reach the property manager quickly at first when we had questions.
About as relaxing as you could imagine on a very quiet road. The yard was splendid and provided all the lake life checkboxes you could possibly desire! We found an eagles nest nearby, caught tons of wonderful fish, explored the local farmers market. It was a 10 out of 10 week on Keeler's Bay. Multiple rainbows and sunset combos!! The property was in great shape and better than the photos. We were not wishing for something we didn't have at any point. The owners were responsive and the neighbors respectful.
this was a great property right on the lake. clean and well stocked. kayaks were available.
This vacation home was a classic was a classic summer camp with just the right amount of amenities for a lovely long weekend on the water. We would consider coming back again for sure.
Lovely little house right next to the water. Would stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this little cabin on the lake. Lovely deck and beach to take In the lake and ducks, and the little kingfisher that lives in the tree nearby. The house has everything you need - perfect for two adults. It could accommodate 2-3 young kids with 2 adults. If you plan on having more than 2 adults it would be close quarters - at least for me. The master bedroom wall on the kitchen side only goes up 8 feet - above that it is open to the kitchen - with decorative netting covering the opening. The bunk bed room also has opening at the top of the wall. Not a problem for a small family. The kitchen/living area is open with a great sectional to watch the lake from a huge picture window. Tv and internet worked great. Gas fireplace was very cozy in early October - and heated up the entire cabin no prob. The lawn outside has lovely trees with a rock edge that leads to a small Sandy beach with a fire pit - really nice. We enjoyed having our nearby son, daughter in law and granddaughter spend the days hanging on the beach and making a fire . We will be back !!
