Stayed Jun 28, 2025We had a perfect week at Rowden Cottage. The weather was delightful (a nice reprieve from the Texas heat!). The kitchen had everything we needed to eat “at home” and enjoy the view. The beach was beautiful and the view and sunsets were unimaginably breathtaking! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise!

Stayed Aug 30, 2024This beautiful house was one of the best places we stayed in Mivchigan. This old house is charming. Despite its age, it is very well kept and very clean. From every room downstairs you have sweeping views of Lake Michigan. Also the views from two of the upstairs bedrooms are amazing and you can hear the waves as you fall asleep. The. Decks are amazing (two of them) we enjoyed great sunsets! Finally, the beach! Better than any public beach around! For those that like biking , you can easily explore Grand Haven and Holland by bike from here. We would love to return to this beautiful house. The hosts were amazing and very accommodating.

Stayed Jul 27, 2024We had a great week at this property. The yard and beach were perfection. The interior was clean and fully functional. There were so many beautiful trees on the property that you did not miss air conditioning, even with the hot weather we had. All 4 bedrooms have two windows for cross breeze. We enjoyed our stay and all agreed that one week was not long enough.

Stayed Aug 17, 2023The house was clean and comfortable. We were able to easily cook and grill out, the house has every utensil, pot, pan and dish you could need. (Minimal plastic cups for kids -so maybe bring a few if you have littles under 5) You can’t beat having your own private beach. We immensely enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon!

Stayed Aug 6, 2022The location was great! We loved the beach and beautiful outside area. When we arrived the temperatures in the house were extremely warm due to a hot day and closed up house (no AC). After the first day, the temperatures outside and in were much better. The house was well equipped and very homey. The lack of a master bedroom was somewhat disappointing. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. Overall, we enjoyed this property.
