Historic 5BR Cottage Near Trails with Crooked Lake Views

A great house for a family gathering. Everything was as advertised. We had a wonderful experience!

Very spacious the kitchen was well supplied With over 10 table settings. The walking trail being only one block away was very very nice. I would recommend going to the fish hatchery. I would say Lakeview not Lakefront since you have to cross a major road so be careful if you try to cross right across from the house because the road is busy and at 45 mph but it’s a nice little park. The bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable. being an old house it was nice and cozy though.

What an awesome house! We enjoyed our stay immensely! Out of all the properties we have stayed at, this was by far the best stocked kitchen we have used. If you needed it, you could find it! We were able to cook a full French meal and eat it in the beautiful dining room!

House was very clean and view was great 9 adults everyone had their own bathroom Kitchen well stocked easy check in. Definitely would book again

Lake view was wonderful, we spent a lot of time on the porch where there was plenty of seating for the 7 adults we had. Location was a short drive to Petoskey and a few wineries in the area. Everyone had their own space/bathrooms and beds were very comfortable. Would gladly book again!

The house was nicely furnished with everything we needed. The bedrooms had very good beds with comfortable linens. The kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed the big fenced in yard for the kids. The location was good and close to the bigger towns and the beaches.

Great location, easy to get to many local destinations. There is a great pie shop a few steps down the road. Beds were comfortable and home had lots of room for groups.

A really awesome older house !! Well maintained , very clean , good communication with rental company . Would visit this same property without hesitation !! It felt like home !

Oden Home is a charming Mid-Century Cottage. It was incredibly clean which we so appreciate with children!!! It is the perfect home for several families/friends. Five bedrooms with seven bathrooms. Each bedroom had its own bathroom that provided each family their own privacy. The living and dining rooms were spacious with a dining table that was large enough for ten individuals. The kitchen had so many amenities. The hosts were fabulous and provided a guide that was detailed with great information about the cottage and surrounding area. We greatly appreciated how responsive they were to our questions. We will definitely reserve Oden House for our next family trip up north.

Family of 9 stayed at the Oden House over the Holidays. The layout and bedrooms are great for a large gathering. This was the second time renting this property and highly recommend.

Great location. Surprisingly large. Loved that every room had its own bathroom. Owners were a delight to work with and made the check in and checkout process simple and seamless.

Quaint & Quirky with more than sufficient bathrooms (we are senior women after all) with large bedrooms and sufficient dining and living areas to critique our golf game while enjoying a cocktail.
