One of the five Sea Cliff solar-powered eco-cottages, this 2-person studio has a stunning view down to Hodges Beach & its palm-fringed islands below, and up to mountain peaks on the horizon. With a wooden cathedral ceiling, the cottage is airy and light-filled, leading onto a spacious covered balcony, where you can sit and watch ospreys & Frigatebirds soar overhead while the Atlantic breakers crash below and you're cooled by the fragrant Trade Wind breezes.

WE'RE A 'SAFE IN NATURE' COVID-CERTIFIED ACCOMMODATION.

Set in two acres of tropical gardens, with an abundance of fruit trees, flowers and hummingbirds, it's just a 5 minute walk down a trail to the natural & wild black sand beach below, where one of Dominica's 365 pristine rivers meets the sea. After a swim in the ocean, a dip in the crystal-clear river water is the perfect way to rinse off the salt!

Sea Cliff Eco-cottages are solar-powered & we do our part to lessen our impact on the natural environment. We compost all natural waste & consume less electricity by using ceiling fans instead of air conditioning & stove top kettles & coffee pots, instead of the electric versions. Our mountain-source tap water is drinkable, removing the need to use plastic water bottles. We also make sure that our presence on Dominica positively impacts and invests in the local community.

There are many beaches just short drives away from the cottages, including Dominica's most picturesque, Batibou, and the beach featured in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. The famous, otherworldly 'Red Rocks' are just 5 minute drive, and the natural swimmable pool of Chaudiere a 15 min drive. The cottage is a 5 min walk to a handful of great restaurants, and a 20 minute walk to the charming fishing village of Calibishie with its pretty, colorful houses on the beachfront, more restaurants, 2 grocery stores, an ATM, gas station and friendly local community.

Really enjoyed our stay. A. The cabin had a terrific view and we had everything we needed for our long stay. We took advantage of some of the freshly made food items that Amber and Simon offered. Loved Calibishie and their location is great for exploring the northern part of the island.
