Cottage - Minutes to Beaches, Cliff Walk, and Downtown Newport!

The house is exactly as it appears in the pictures. The owner, Jackie, is very easy to work with and the day after we checked in, she followed up to make sure all was well. The house is very clean and stocked with everything you could need. The drive to Newport was close and easy. We had a delightful week and would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Jackie!

The cottage exactly as described, very clean. Great location, quiet neighborhood, but could easily walk to places to eat. Easy to get to Newport, Cliff Walk and local sites. Could walk to Decond Beach if you wanted. Owner's were responsive and gave great recommendations for places to eat.

We visit Newport quite frequently, as well as other New England coastal towns. We enjoy sailing, sightseeing and dining, and are especially fond of the Midtown Oyster Bar for its ambience and selection of oysters, and Castle Hill outdoor bar/restaurant for its breathtaking views. As for the cottage, it's convenient for its location, cleanliness, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We were somewhat disappointed that both bedroom closets were largely used to store linens and floor cleaning supplies, leaving little room for hanging our clothes and placing are shoes on the bottom, since we are paying guests. Don’t forget to bring your own toiletries, laundry detergent to use in the washer, and bathroom cleaners, if you stay longer than a couple of days. There are no deck chairs to relax in the backyard, but you can have a BBQ and eat on a picnic table with benches and a beach umbrella.

A little gem of a cottage in a quiet neighborhood minutes from the beach and Newport proper. Hosts are so accomodating and attentive - very kind and welcoming. Home is very comfortable, clean, inviting, peaceful. Decor is light, lovely, and quintessential to being near the coast. Bunny rabbits and hydrangeas in the front yard added to the quaint and cozy feel. Backyard patio made for a lovely place to sit and read in the afternoon. Walking distance to nice places to eat and get ice cream. Everything we ever wanted. Just perfect. Thank you!! ♥

The house is very cute and clean. Beds were comfortable. Good location.

The house was clean. It’s very important to us. Well appointed with utensils, nice towels and adorable polka dieted sheets. We loved the white and blue decor throughout the house. Quilts were so nice. Neighborhood was quiet. Beach was down the street. Parking was reasonable at the beach. Only downside was the smell of low tide.

This house was wonderful. Convenient to so many things. Owners were great to communicate with. Highly recommend this property. We had a great time.

My partner and I came up for our sons graduation and wanted something near Newport but without the Newport prices - this house fit the bill. The house was cute and clean and the location is within walking distance to multiple restaurants. We didn’t use the kitchen much but it seemed pretty well stocked. Checking in and out was easy and the owner checked in to see if we needed anything (we didn’t). Overall, no issues and I would stay here again.
