Nice quiet private area with attractions within 10 minutes. Lovely of hosts to let us have early check-in and late check-out even though not used and enough space for 3 of us adults to spread out. The host's cute dogs were hillarious. Handy having the kitchen for easy meals

The property is clean and has everything we need for cooking. They even gave us free eggs. Peaceful place, too. We had a great time staying there. Would go back again.

Quiet location without restaurant nearby. Good to cook as cooking facility is sufficient. Spacious house and clean. In house laundry is also helpful and convenient. Host Jerry and Cherry are very kind!

Great Cottage, peaceful and quiet! Wonderful hosts, loved the fresh eggs. Tv was playing up so Jerry replaced it with a new one promptly. Great spot, short walk to the lake front walking path, and golf course. Short drive to Rotorua city centre.

Great location, and helpful guests

Jerry and Cherry were wonderful hosts - very friendly, responsive, and helpful! The cottage looks just as it does in the picture. It's probably best to arrive during daylight the first time - it's not really tricky, but could be if it's dark. Parking is good. It has a nice living room with TV and games, though we were on the go a lot, so we didn't spend a ton of time there. We had breakfast a few times at the cottage, including some fresh eggs from the host, and we made use of the pans and dishes. We stayed in one bedroom and our son stayed in the bedroom with the smaller beds - comfy. We were there during the summer so it was mostly warm and we used the AC unit in the living room a few times. There are electric blankets for the winter and I bet it's pretty cozy. The house is pet friendly and that might bother some with allergies, but good for those with pets. Washer and dryer were very handy but they can take a while. I liked the shower and water was warm - bathroom could get humid after that but you could just open a window. It's in a really quiet location and my wife thought she heard a kiwi call one of the nights we had our windows open. One of the nights was clear and we walked up the driving path to a goregous view of stars: this included an upside-down (to us) Orion with the nebulas and a faint Milky Way. About 15 minutes away from everything in Rotorua, on the non-sulfur smell side of the lake. When visiting family in the area, we would definitely stay there again!

Hosts every welcoming. The cottage was well appointed and every quite and had a relaxing time.

Perfect base for our fishing weekend. Close to the lake and all the amenities we needed. House was neat and tidy.

Friendly welcome and a lovely location. If you want peace and quiet with nature sounds with a hint of country, this is the spot. We enjoyed the stay, it can be patchy with wifi or cell service which we didnt mind as this allowed us to shut off and really enjoy the serenity and each others company. We were thankful for the delivery of some fresh eggs on arrival which made for a delicious brekkie and we looovveedd the shower water pressure. Thank you :)

A lovely location for a long weekend, was perfect for 4 adults and 2 dogs. Short walk to a nice lake front walk. Jerry is a great host, most welcoming and the fresh eggs provided on arrival beautiful.

Had a great weekend for my partners birthday, having our 2 dogs along with us made it even better. The area was nice and quiet with plenty of room to run the dogs.

I stayed in winter with my dog and it was very warm and cosy, great kitchen facilities, comfortable bed and hot showers. It’s very quiet which was just what we wanted and my dog settled really well in her crate.Lovely garden area, which I’m sure would look amazing in spring and summer.Jerry was a welcoming host and we would definitely love to stay again.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Cherry Tree Cottage with our dog. The cottage was well appointed and it was a nice gesture as we were given some eggs for our breakfast. Jerry and Cherry were charming hosts.

Great location - quiet & peaceful, easy drive to local shops or further into the centre of town.

We enjoyed our stay here, with easy access to Rotorua and Hamurana attractions. Cherry was very welcoming and helpful.

Bach is perfectly located for exploring the many amazing places in the Rotorua area. The free range welcome eggs were much enjoyed as were the many bird sightings and songs. We enjoyed our time there and would rent it again.Jan and Phill

Was greeted by our host Jerry with fresh eggs provided by the resident chooks. The Cottage was overall very good value for money. The only complaint was very dirty windows and dog poop on the drive in front of the Cottage on both days.

We had a lovely stay in Hamurana, it was so nice to be able to stay out of the city but still be close enough that we could go mountain biking each day without hassle. Very welcoming hosts :) our labradoodle had a great time in the big garden, thanks again!

Loved the place. Everything necessary was there. Great and safe from my 2 dogs that came with me. We were lucky we had amazingly summery weather, but even if it had rained, it would have been just as relaxing. Great to be able to chill out, listen to the birds, and loved the surrounding vegetation.

Cottage was good size, great bathroom for my disabled son and in a great neighborhood. It was nice to be in nature but also a quick drive to town where my sons physical therapy was. Lovely welcome on arrival from friendly Jerry and Cherry

We were greeted by Jerry with a pleasant smile and a basket of fresh eggs. We had a wonderful stay at the Cherry Cottage and highly recommend it for those who enjoy tranquility, nature, the beach which is only 2 mins drive.

Jerry is a fantastic host and his bach is really comfortable. Love the tranquil surroundings and delicious eggs from the hens were a real treat. Thanks, Jerry!
