Charming New England cottage

Comfortable, great shower, great location just outside of Manchester and easy to get to ski hills. Loved the wood stove on a cold winter weekend. Will visit again.

My niece and the rest of my New Jersey family descended upon Manchester Vermont for her fall wedding. We rented this quintessential New England cottage and had a lovely time. It not only met but exceeded all of our expectations! Plenty of space inside and out …. very comfy for the four adults who stayed there.

Overall not what we expected. It was on a busy road, which we didn't expect -- but conveniently located near town. Biggest issue was the musty smell, which we couldn't get rid of because the downstairs windows wouldn't open. Smell seemed to come from the wood on the front porch and was so bad that the other couple with us left after the first night because of allergies. Also, as previously mentioned, the stairs are very steep with no railing. Bathrooms have nice updates and it was great to have access to a laundry. Porch is also a nice place to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine at night.

We rented this cute cottage because we had a family wedding at Levity mountain. Perfect location. 10 min from where we needed to be! Great location to town! Very quiet. Well Stocked. Nice having 2 full bathrooms! Very clean! Loved the screened porch. Would highly recommended

We were in town for a family wedding. The location was ideal for having quick access to stores, restaurants and the wedding festivities. Surrounding mountain views were breathtaking along the road close to the cottage. The sitting spot by the Battenkill River across the street from the property was a real treat. The cottage was neat, clean and well equipped with anything you would need while away from home. We would stay here again.

We came as a group of girls to explore Manchester, perfect location and great host!! The house had everything we needed and Joyce was quick to respond to queations!

This was the perfect place to stay with family for a weekend in Vermont. We were there to celebrate a wedding and it was excellent.

Very comfortable for a group that included a college aged niece and nephew we didn’t know well and had room for a family brunch where we added my daughter, son in law and grandson without feeling crowded. Having a full bathroom on both floors was a plus. Note—stairs to upstairs bedrooms fairly strep and narrow

We were in Manchester for a family wedding and the cottage worked perfectly for us. It was close to all of our events, there was plenty of space, it was right next to the Battenkill for easy fishing access and the kitchen even had sharp knives! Thank you, Joyce!

We stayed here because we were working a wedding at Hildene and the location could not have been more perfect. We didn't spend much time in the home, but for the hours that we did use it to sleep, it was very comfortable and accomodating!

We stayed at this cottage during our first visit to the Vermont Summer Festival. It was perfect for our family of 4. The location was close to the horse show and around the corner from town. The creek out front gives the perfect ambiance coupled with the surrounding mountains! The hosts were wonderful to communicate with. We definitely plan on staying here again!

...and just as perfect for our family as in years past. Joyce is great to work with and is very accommodating given our check-out being dependent on a local tournament.
