Stayed Oct 16, 2025By far the top hotel/B&B on our family Northeastern USA Road Trip. The Allen's are exceptional hosts who have thought of your every need. The location is a short drive to Newport with wonderful small villages as you cross two islands to reach Newport. My British daughter felt like she was living in a real Cape Cod bungalow for our 3 nights which was a great beginning for our trip. Don't pass up staying at Cora's Cottage if you're visiting the Newport or Providence area.

Stayed Mar 27, 2026The cottage was quaint. It was the best supplied one we ever stayed in. It was very clean. The location was perfect to explore Newport, Jamestown, Providence, all the beaches etc. The best part was the hosts Ruth and Kenneth went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. When one of the 3 tvs wasn’t working he brought one of his own over to replace it. We highly recommend staying at the cottage .

Stayed Aug 29, 2024Ruth and Kenny are great hosts; very friendly and kind but also very mindful about leaving us to our privacy and space. The grounds are pretty and the cottage is homey, clean, and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would re-book if we visit the area again.

Stayed Jul 14, 2024Cora’s Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. The home has everything you might need to include a screened in porch and a large backyard. The property is centrally located in Rhode Island and close to beaches. Kenny and Ruth live next door and are the best property managers and neighbors you could ever have. They are both very communicative and ensure that you have everything you need every step of the way…to include going above and beyond by providing a small continental breakfast and coffee for your first morning and veggies from their garden if in season. We loved the home and Ruth and Kenny so much we came back for a second stay! Highly recommend!!
