Charming cottage with short drive to the beach or the city!

By far the top hotel/B&B on our family Northeastern USA Road Trip. The Allen's are exceptional hosts who have thought of your every need. The location is a short drive to Newport with wonderful small villages as you cross two islands to reach Newport. My British daughter felt like she was living in a real Cape Cod bungalow for our 3 nights which was a great beginning for our trip. Don't pass up staying at Cora's Cottage if you're visiting the Newport or Providence area.

The stay was a pure pleasure. Kenny and Ruth were outstanding hostesses. The cottage was a home away from home with a great location.

Ruth and Kenny are great hosts; very friendly and kind but also very mindful about leaving us to our privacy and space. The grounds are pretty and the cottage is homey, clean, and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would re-book if we visit the area again.

Cora’s Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. The home has everything you might need to include a screened in porch and a large backyard. The property is centrally located in Rhode Island and close to beaches. Kenny and Ruth live next door and are the best property managers and neighbors you could ever have. They are both very communicative and ensure that you have everything you need every step of the way…to include going above and beyond by providing a small continental breakfast and coffee for your first morning and veggies from their garden if in season. We loved the home and Ruth and Kenny so much we came back for a second stay! Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay with Kenny and Ruth. They are lovely hosts and the cottage is so cute and clean, and incredible history of the cottage construction by Kenny's grandfather. We found the cottage centrally located for all our interests, close to the bike path and Calf Pasture Beach, Audubon centers, and nature trails. Would definitely stay here again :)

We arrived early and contacted our host to ask if we could check in early. She gladly accommodated our request and welcomed us an hour early. When we checked in, we found a eat off the floor clean house with fast working internet, multiple televisions, a fully stocked bathroom, complete with many towels, face cloths, soap, Q Tips, masks, makeup removers. There was everything and anything one could think of! The kitchen had coffee, muffins and orange juice so we did not have to rush out to buy anything for morning one upon arriving to the property. And there was plenty of ice in the freezer. Beds are very comfortable. Furniture is better quality than you would find in a hotel. The yard is large and very private. Our dog loved running around and fetching his ball in the back yard. The hosts are super nice people, which made our stay very special. I would highly recommend this property to an individual, a couple or a small family. I don't think you could be disappointed staying here.
