Beautiful Belmont Lake Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The quiet, beautiful lake was the perfect setting for a relaxing family getaway. Check-in was smooth, and the cottage had everything we needed. It was cozy and well-decorated, with clean, comfortable bedding. The kids had an amazing time—especially with the lily pad mat, paddle board, and kayaks. We also went boating, fishing, tubing, and water skiing. We caught several Walleye, Pike and Bass and of course Sunfish. Evenings around the bonfire were a highlight!The host was friendly and responsive, checking in to make sure we were doing well. We appreciated the large dining table, easy-to-use BBQ, and the extra fridge and bunkie, which helped us avoid extra trips into town. The A/C kept the cottage cool and comfortable. Garbage drop-off was simple and clearly marked.We also boated to the nearby marina for ice cream! We didn’t make it to the brewery, but it’s on our list for next time. We’d love to return—highly recommend this spot for a peaceful and fun family vacation.

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful cottage — truly a gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The space is spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need for a relaxing getaway. The setting is stunning, with peaceful surroundings, lake access, and lots of charm both inside and out.Our family especially appreciated the chance to unwind and reconnect — our son made fast friends with the kids next door, and our dogs had the time of their lives exploring the outdoors. The weather was perfect all week, which made the entire experience even more magical.The host was wonderful — clear communication, detailed instructions, and so thoughtful in allowing us to bring our dogs. It’s rare to find a place that checks all the boxes, but this one did and more. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Don’t let the square footage fool you! This place had everything you need for a terrific stay for the adults and plenty to do for the kids! Thank you to our host Michael, who was in constant contact to make sure we got the most out of our stay. We would easily make the decision to go back and the family is already talking about next year!

We had a wonderful week at Belmont Lake. Cottage had ALL the amenities that we needed and was fully stocked for a fun and relaxing week. We loved the book selection, games, outdoor water canoe/kayak, paddle board, jumping pad and more. The cottage is beautiful with so much room for all 8 of us to explore. We would definitely book again and would recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in Havelock area.
