We were a party of 6 adults and 4 children, three of them 5 and under. The children loved the sandy beach, the dock and water, and got their share of playing on the trampoline. We docked our boat using the launch right at the cottage which was quite handy. The cottage was large and comfortable. I would recommend this place without question.

Overall not bad and I felt everything is true to the property descriptions. Let’s talk about the good first. The washrooms are in good conditions. Water pressure is fine. Water temp is fine. There were 11 of us and each had a bed to sleep in. Central air conditioning is awesome. My nephew caught a bass just off the dock. The kids were having fun. Not so good: 10am check out is kind of early. The peddle boat was filled with water. We tried our best to empty out the water and even so, the boat is still tipped to one side so probably there’s a leak? The outdoor furnitures really need a make over, especially the cushions. I didn’t want to touch them. We followed google map and took the fire route 56. Apparently, we were told by the neighbours that fire route 56 is for ATV. They said it is better and safer to take fire route 57. I think this needs to be mentioned in big bold letters in the instructions. If it is raining and the road becomes muddy, my car would be stuck. Garbage instruction is lacking. We did not know we can’t use black garbage bag. When we got to the transfer station, the guy gave us hell. He immediately asked if it is the Vances’? And he went on and on complaining and at first he actually wanted us to bring the garbage back with us. I told him I don’t know so he backed off. I am not sure if any previous tenants mentioned to owner/manager. Please bring clear plastic bags!

Our family came from different directions and met at mid point for everyone. We had a great time together in spite of rain almost all weekend. It’s a perfect cottage for young children and there were four boys between the ages of three months to six years and they had a blast being together and watching a VHS video while the parents shared memories of video nights every Friday. Communication with our host was excellent. And a neighbor was so kind to help us out with a boost for a dead car battery. All in all a great weekend. Thanks so much Jason.

The location of the property is good. The cottage was located right on the lake which was a great treat for us. Overall, we family friends enjoyed this cottage stay and had a great time. We would recommend this cottage for others and we would also love to come back on our next opportunity. We thank Jason for hosting this cottage for us on VRBO.

Enjoyed our stay, The property is slightly smaller, but very well renovated bathrooms. Winter may not be the correct time to visit or we were too early

The cottage was exactly as advertised. So there were no surprises. When we had a question, it was answered quickly and to our satisfaction. It was clean and spacious. Very good for a group of 2 or 3 small families and the beach area was excellent for toddlers.

The lake was lovely, as was the beach area. The fishing was pretty good as well. Communication with the owners was good, and the cottage itself was nicely laid out. Having a washer/dryer was also great. However, we rent a new place each year and here are some recommendations/observations for improvement: -the kitchen items were not very clean. Had to wash everything before using, and the dishwasher did not work well (left dishes dirty) -the canoe had no paddles and the pedal boat was broken. So if we had not brought our own kayaks etc., (and the neighbour had not lent us some paddles!), the water activities would not have been possible. -the garbage pass was missing, as were the garbage containers. Had to contact the owner. It seems like the owners need to check-in/check-up on the cottage more frequently so that the renters are properly equipped and to ensure that everything is functioning and there.

The cottage was very clean and in a great location. The views of the lake were great and the kids had lots of fun on the sandy beach. It also slept two families comfortably. Would definitely go again!

A little off the beaten path, but so worth it. We enjoyed the cottage itself, but also used it as a base to go to several different provincial parks. Slept our 5 adults and 5 children very comfortably, with a washroom on each level which was great. Would definitely stay here again! One note, if you are driving around and your GPS says to take Devil's 4 mile road, don't do it. It's one lane, 9 KMS, no where to pass or turn around. Found out the hard way, lol.
