Beach Haven Long Beach Island

This beach cottage was perfect for my dog and I while we were in Beach Haven for my daughter's wedding weekend. The location was central to everything and within easy walking distance to all Beach Haven has to offer. The people who stayed in the front house couldn't have been nicer and our dogs all got along and shared the common fenced in backyard, which was terrific for my dog. Also great neighborhood for walks.

The host was amazing and flexible with check-in and check-out. With the nature of our stay, I would give it an overall 10/10. One issue that is worth noting, which I left a note at check out, is that the ants in the kitchen were abundant. Luckily we didn't do any cooking, but left a spoon in the sink after eating ice cream, and there were hundreds of ants in and around the sink. Probably an easy fix. Otherwise, this location was perfect and we very much enjoyed our stay! Thanks so much!

Theresa was a wonderful host! The cottage is adorable and the location was central to everything LBI offers. I definitely recommend!

We enjoyed 2 wonderful weeks in Theresa’s adorable beach cottage! A brand new stove was delivered during our stay. We enjoyed a spotless cottage in a very quiet neighborhood. And we loved being able to have our mini labradoodle with us. The outdoor shower was heavenly after a day at the beach. We were able to walk everywhere during our stay…. Theresa was wonderful and very communicative… We look forward to renting this adorable cottage next year…

We had a great time at this back yard cottage. The location was perfect--walking distance to both the ocean and the bay-side dog beach at Taylor Ave, along with all the great dining options Beach Haven has to offer. There's no inside dining table or counter chairs, but luckily we had good weather for eating at the outdoor patio table when not dining out. The fenced in yard was very peaceful and a nice place to hang out between activities. The bed was a little on the soft side for my body's preference, but otherwise the main bedroom was great. Lots of closet and dresser space. The second bedroom was huge. The couch in the main space was spacious with a large TV for unwinding after a long day of activities, and the kitchen was equipped for what we needed. Overall, we'd stay again.

Perfect for my husband and I (plus dog). House was clean/comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was quick with communication and was very flexible with us for check-in and check-out. Would stay again!

Awful amount of pet hair and cat urine in the rugs (our kids have several allergy). There is probably severe mildew in the smaller room as well (again our kids have allergies so we are quite sensitive to it). Broken beds which the host did attend to during the stay (though remained broken). There are fleas in couch from whatever animals have been there before. Simply put the condition of the cottage was pretty dismal upon arrival but I chalked it up to the lack of reviews on VRBO and my lack of better judgement
