Stayed Feb 1, 2025Very comfortable, just steps to the beach and very peaceful. Beach was not busy at all. Alexandro in the office was exceptionally helpful. Recommend having a rental car or golf cart to get around. (Alexandro will help with that.)

Reviewer Comments: We loved our lovely and comfortable ground-floor condo with such quick and easy access to the beach/snorkeling. Office staff were great - and very helpful - allowing us to leave our luggage while we waited for the unit to become available and, again, when we left while waiting for an airport shuttle. Enjoyed exploring North Akumal- Yalku Lagoon folks allowed us in to see the sculptures and we loved the green juice and local coatis at the Jungle Cafe. Upon arriving home and realizing I'd left my computer at the airport, the staff of Akumal Direct were incredibly helpful in arranging to receive the laptop and get it to my daughter who had stayed on. Amazing customer service!

It's exactly as described in the photos, the office is right there to answer questions, and key pick up was super easy. We really enjoyed relaxing to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. It's handy for all you want to do in the Akumal/Tulum area. We come to this area a lot and it truly is a hidden paradise.

The unit is fully stocked with all the kitchen equipment you need. The staff is responsive. It's steps from the sea on the ground floor, which is a great bonus. Conveniently located near Yal Ku lagoon, restaurants and shopping. We'll be back!
