Salida Chic-2 BDR, 1.5 BTH-downtown Salida, large private deck w beautiful views

Great 2-night stay for my son and I. Very nice large, clean and charming unit in a great little town. We were surprised by how much life there is in Salida.

Great location! Close to dining, shopping, and trails. Housing was spacious, modern, and had everything we needed. The balcony was my favorite feature! Neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe.

Perfect home close to everything! Always clean - all amenities are available and home is cozy and comfortable!! Pinon is fabulous and responsive !!

While this rental has a lot of charm, the two drawbacks were the 1.) super creaky floors and 2.) the thin walls. One guest was sleeping on the top floor and reported hearing the guest on the main floor flossing their teeth. Most guests slept with ear plugs. Additionally, the expectations for guests to clean up (start towels in laundry, state the dishwasher, take out the trash, etc.) PLUS the charged clean up fee gets old after awhile. We were there less than 24 hours, took care of all of the expected post visit clean up chores and paid the cleaning fee.

Great place in a wonderful location! It was perfect for the 3 of us. We could walk to all the shops and many restaurant options!

Pinon Chic is in a great location! It's very close to the shops and restaurants of Salida's historic downtown. We also enjoyed being just 2 blocks from the farmers market at the park.Guests need to know that the unit is only accessible from the back of the building...we weren't aware of this and it bothered the tenants of the street level apartment in front.Also, it might help others to know that the main living room, kitchen, deck, master bed w/ full bath, as well as the half bath are all on the second floor of the building -- but the 2nd bedroom is on the 3rd floor.

We had a great time staying at Salida Chic. It’s in a great location. We were able to easily walk to the river, restaurants, and shops. The condo was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We loved sitting on the deck and relaxing.

Such a fun stay at a convenient location. We enjoyed downtown Salida exploring all the shops and restaurants. Thanks for making our stay a great family vacation.

Great location, easy walk to downtown

We loved staying at your condo in Salida. It was so clean and so beautifully furnished and decorated. We were very comfortable there and it’s location to everything in Salida was so nice. We walked everywhere and didn’t need a car.

This awesome, impeccable condo is spitting distance to downtown Salida. We loved our stay and found all the amenities to be excellent. It’s beautifully decorated with cool exposed beans and brick, giving it the perfect, accompanying feel of Salida. Would highly recommend to any group of friends or family.

Great reno! Loved the historic building, exposed brick, the art and decor, and the ideal location! (Wished the floors were slightly less creaky and the bed in the master was less worn down.)

We stayed 3 nights and was the base for our monarch ski days. Walked to great food etc. Would definitely stay at again!

was not aware how steep the stairs were to enter living space. good think my husband did not join us as he would have not been able to enter. otherwise, nice deck and clean. thanks!

Clean kitchen and baths.

You can walk to literally everything. This is historic apartment is updated nicely and had everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway.

Overall we had a great stay in an attractive, well maintained and located place. The only drawback was with the floor air conditioner in the upstairs bedroom. The air conditioner itself worked but the temporary connection through the window opening included some sort of semi flexible plastic material as a seal. During one of the nights a wind picked up and the flapping plastic made a very aggrevating noise like someone crunching brittle paper, which precluded sleeping through it. The unit needs a more permanent connection similar to ones on the first floor.

Second stay for us and equally as enjoyable as the first. Quaint place perfectly located to shops and restaurants. Responsive property manager. Clean and comfy! Only issue we had this time around was cleaning staff arriving 15-20 minutes early on check out day which made us feel a little uncomfortably rushed. Not a deal breaker for next time, but just something we felt was unnecessary. That said, we will book again. Great little hideaway!

Perfect location and property for our family of 4. Every summer we drive from Ohio to Salida to compete in and enjoy the Fibark festival in mid June. Salida Chic felt like home and had the perfect amenities for rest and relaxation after a long drive and/or competition. Loved having a parking spot, full kitchen, relaxing living space and upstairs deck. Located just off the main drag so you’re close to everything while avoiding the late night noise of weekends on F street. This was probably our top Salida stay over the past 7 years.
