River Aerie-Relax by the River

Very clean and comfortable. Located right on the Arkansas River with a great view. It's also within easy walking distance of the downtown area.

The steam shower was nice. The view across the river not so much.

Location was great! Hosts were awesome! Peaceful and wonderful stay!

The property itself was pristine, spacious and had a beautiful view/location ride on the river. Unfortunately, the condo was represented as being on a completely non-smoking property, but when a large group of people were smoking, primarily in the mornings and evenings on a balcony, right next to our rental balcony, it made the availability to our balcony and the option to leave our patio doors and windows open untenable. Therefore, for morning coffee and evenings, we were trapped inside. The most disappointing outcome was when we reported the smoking to our property manager, we were told that they would notify the HOA but property owners were only under the jurisdiction of the HOA. The smoking was never resolved throughout the rest of our stay and the Property Manager insisted it was outside their control. I suggested to them that they advertise the property correctly because we would not have chosen to stay there if we had known that smoking was allowed on the property. They offered nothing except apologies.

Nice place this is the second time we have stayed in this condo. Perfect location as you can walk to town and you're right on the river. Only suggestion is to have some drapes or blackout Shades and bedroom as it is very bright in the morning.

Great townhouse / condo with cantilevered deck over the River. Easy, responsive check-in and check-out plus easy walk along River to center of town - 4 to 5 blocks

Beautiful location, very well appointed condo. It felt like home as soon as we walked in. Easy walk to town, beautiful view from the porch. Just a wonderfully, well appointed, location and place to stay. We will be back!

The condo has a wonderful location. The property was perfect for the two of us. The weather was unseasonably hot and the main living area is not air conditioned. This was uncomfortable and a disappointment. Everything else was great.

Spacious and comfortable condo directly above Arkansas River; can relax on deck while watching birds fly by and kayakers float downstream.

Very quiet and safe. Beautiful view. Nicely furnished unit with so many creature comforts. I loved having a garage too. Maybe it is a guy thing.

This was our second time. We love this condo. Their deck is awesome. Suggestions: It would be an upgrade if there was the possibility of another place to sleep. I had a cold and had to sleep separate from my wife for one night. The couch is not comfortable for sleeping. It’s kind of broken down. The coffee maker was unusable. After making one pot of terrible tasting coffee, we went to Walmart and got a coffee system of our own. It was not operator error; we brought our usual coffee and filters that we use at home with a similar machine. The coffee maker was really dirty and may be uncleanable.

The condo is very comfortable and large for a one bedroom. The view is amazing - especially at night! You are right on the river - you can't get a better location!

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious, clean condo! We loved relaxing on the back deck overlooking the Arkansas River. Beautiful view! The condo was close to several hikes and an easy walk into downtown Salida to shop and eat at restaurants!
