SEASCAPE is our escape from the world. Our ground floor, corner two bedroom, two bath condominium is located directly on Half Moon Bay's beach. At almost fifteen-hundred square feet, it is larger than most 2/2 condos in the area and has a very open floor plan. As it is our 2nd home, we have over the years, completely upgraded it to be perfect for us and our discerning guests. Seascape is built with the best of Mexican craftsmanship using American/European materials and standards. It contains a combination of amenities that you won't find in any other condo in the area, making SeaScape the standard for combined luxury and comfort.
Some unique features of Seascape include: the best quality windows/door systems obtainable: minimizing heat, sound and storm impact, also providing solid security, state-of-the-art electrical outlets with direct USB charge ports, high quality kitchenware, blackout curtains, multi-room separable stereo system, custom built-in cabinetry with drawers throughout, underbed luggage storage, and decorative security ironwork.
Seascape is also environmentally friendly with energy efficient appliances, soft LED lighting, non-toxic paint, and non-polluting cleaning and paper products. We are fully licensed and permitted and exceed all safety requirements.

Everything is provided for a quiet, relaxing but fulfilling vacation, including FREE WIFI, FREE parking, PRIVATE beach loungers and chairs, maid service, UNLIMITED bottled water, FULL AC, 2 LARGE SMART TVs with Private VPN, Netflix, and ROKU. Even a smart workspace! And of course great linens, beds, and bath products.

DETAILS
You know you've reached SeaScape just by it's entrance which has a custom stained glass transom depicting its name. Stepping inside, you are immediately transfixed by the FULL view of Half Moon Bay and our beach. The living and dining areas are designed for maximum viewing and living pleasure towards this view.

Throughout the condo special touches abound depicting the best of local materials and craftsmanship: stained glass, tropical mahogany cabinetry, hand painted Talavera ceramics, Mexican handblown glass, and sustainable local hardwood furniture.

There are two bedrooms with king sized beds. Both bedrooms have orthopedic mattresses with supportive padding, combined with high count Egyptian cotton linens and multiple pillow types provide the most comfortable sleeping in ALL OF AKUMAL.

The master bedroom has a custom crafted headboard of exotic wood tiles from antique ship wrecks. It’s closets have woven south-American mahogany doors and built-in drawer cabinets and shelves so it’s easy to stay organized. The attached spa master bathroom is done in local marbles, natural sea glass and shell has a custom mahogany vanity with plenty of drawers and space.

The guest bedroom's is done in a contemporary Caribbean color scheme with a Tommy Bahama padded headboard and a hand carved mahogany dresser. It has a private patio and seating looking into our expansive gardens. The second bathroom boasts an onyx chunk stone sink, handmade tiles, and local marble walls and floor. All rooms have large ceiling fans including the baths. For additional comfort though, A/C is available throughout the condo.

The kitchen has custom made Mayan walnut (called Tzalam) cabinetry with plenty of drawers and cabinets. It's countertops have cut stone backsplashes, full size appliances and double sink provide convenience and space for cooking and bartending at the same time! Of course, SeaScape's kitchen is well outfitted for all types of entertaining.

Opposite the beach in the courtyard, beautiful gardens surround a large pool that includes a lap lane. It provides a shady lush contrast to our beach and bay. As a professional landscape designer, the gardens are my passion, so over the years, we've transformed the garden areas with many unique plants of the region, including many orchids, gingers, plumeria, dragon fruit and other tropical blooming plants. It's truly beautiful.

Akumal is sixty miles south of Cancun International Airport, south on the four lane, newly renovated highway 307. Half Moon Bay (HMB) is a designated ecological zone, with a vibrant living reef. While you are close to everything; it is very private and quiet. We are a quiet, laid-back area focused on our beautiful bay and beaches, snorkeling and pristine diving. Close by are Mayan ruins, golf, nature parks, cenotes, even active nightlife. This truly is the perfect place to create lifetime memories!

    Amazing views you can walk right out to the ocean from the backyard. It’s very private peaceful. The police are literally across the street so you don’t have to worry about any thing going on. The pool is nice in the middle of the property lots of vegetation and little animals running around. We had zero issues and zero problems the entire time that we were there we will definitely come back.

    The best spot to stay in Akumal. The space is fantastic, comfortable, and has all the amenities you can ask for. The location is ideal for a quiet getaway thats still in walking distance to lots of conveniences. The grounds are fantastic - directly on a beautiful private quiet beach, and a really nice pool to cool off in. And the host - Diana - was super responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. I would absolutely 100% book this again, and recommend you do the same.

    We loved staying at Diana’s! It was our first time in Akumal, and this spot was everything we hoped for during our seven-day stay—peaceful, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing. Half Moon Bay is walkable, and having a car made it easy to explore nearby beaches, cenotes, and towns. We had fantastic snorkeling right in front of the condo, plus even more down the road at Yal Kú cenote and in Akumal Bay. The La Sirena pool was the perfect post-beach refresh, and the lush gardens made it feel like a little tropical hideaway. The location is ideal—close to tasty restaurants, the best coffee at Jungle Café, and grocery essentials at the general store and farmer’s market. Inside, the condo is bright and airy, with high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and great temperature control with fans and AC. The kitchen is spacious and fully stocked with everything you need to cook at home—including a fresh water dispenser, which was a huge bonus. The beds were really comfortable, and we appreciated the cozy bedding—it made for a great night’s sleep after long, sun-soaked days. Diana was also fantastic—super responsive and readily available for any questions we had during our stay. It gave us total peace of mind knowing she was just a quick message away. We were genuinely bummed to leave, but we’ll definitely be back.

    My family and I stayed at Diana’s place the week after Christmas. The condo is amazing. It is well located, close to the beach and in a beautiful setting. The kitchen has everything you need. From the moment I first made contact with her she was helpful. This included a long phone call where she was willing to talk through some of our travel plans (we had never been to the area) giving us great advice about some activities to do with our two teenage sons. When we arrived at the Cancun airport there was a snafu with our rental car. It was relatively late, and I called Diana to see if she had any ideas about transportation. She immediately spent a half hour reaching out to her local contacts to try to help us with transportation. She went above and beyond to help us. This was the best air bnb experience we have had and would definitely stay at one of Diana’s properties in the future.

    The premier place to stay in Akumal! La Sirena #1 is a beautiful 2 room unit, well stocked if you're cooking. ( which we didnt) a great enclosed patio leads you out the the private beach are and, out to the best snorkeling in Half Moon Bay! Also, a short walk or bicycle ride from Ya Ku Lagoon. A great place to spend a day snorkeling in a brackish water lagoon! Don't miss your chance to experience this amazing property yourself!

    Staying at the Seascape condo was a wonderful experience. The apartment felt like home, as it was cosy and beautifully decorated, and especially because the kitchen was so well equipped you could virtually prepare anything. As we stayed there at the end of our trip we decided to relax and enjoy. We ate lunch in restaurants, shopped for groceries, prepared salads in the evening and watched sunset whilst reading the books we found in the library! The views were breathtaking and it was so good to wake up with the sea right in front of the apartment. I initially had planned to book an apartment on the second floor but I did not regret at all having booked the ground floor for it was very practical and created space. The swimming pool is beautiful and the personnel very friendly and helpful. Overall I certainly recommend booking it! Thank you very much Diana.

    This property is beautiful. The pool area is surrounded with greenery and flowers blooming everywhere. So relaxing and serene. The owner Diana is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great information regarding places to go, as well as when to go to avoid the big crowds. We didn’t have hot water one day after a wind storm blew out the pilot light. A text to Diana and staff had it fixed within the hour. The staff are friendly and always willing to help if we needed anything. We will definitely be back again. I highly recommend this property if you want a comfortable, peaceful and relaxing vacation. Ps. The snorkelling is amazing and only steps from the condo. We will definitely be back.
