Great house for families in a great location! House was clean upon check in and bonus for being dog friendly

This is a perfect house for a family vacation! We had plenty of room to spread out when we wanted to different things, but also big enough areas to all hang out together. The views are great, and having coffee on the porch in the mornings was the highlight of the vacation. We loved how peaceful the area is while being so close to the beach. The house was clean, and the team was incredibly responsive. I would 100% return!

We loved staying at this property. We typically try to be closer to the beach, but the inlet provided a different kind of water beauty. Check-in was very easy. The kitchen was well equipped. This is an absolutely gorgeous house!

Great property! Very clean, nice layout, the screened in porch was great and we used the community pool. The drive to the beach each day was very easy, will definitely be back!

We totally enjoyed our two week stay at Hidden Paradise. This house had everything (except an electric can opener) we needed…plus some. The kayaks were enjoyed by all, especially our little people, ages 7 and 8. There is so much to do in the area besides just the beach. Having the boat ramp on the property was great. The house is definitely a 5-star! Our only complaint, which is not the owner’s fault, is that the community pool was not in the greatest condition. There was algae and pH levels were probably not tested often enough.

We loved this property! It had great views and we enjoyed the screened porch so much. The little beach, fishing dock and availability of kayaks were a definite added plus. It’s nice how close this is to Bethany, Dewey and Rehoboth. The home has many nice additions. Only downfall was the cleanliness, that definitely left something to be desired. There was dog hair and random trash under beds, furniture, etc. Would love to stay again if cleanliness was addressed!

Do you want to wake up and look out at a watery vista? Ride bikes through a peaceful nature preserve? Drop your kayak in the water steps from the front door? This is the place! We have stayed in Sandy Cove for 4 years, trying a different property each time. All are comfortable, well furnished and spacious, but this one takes the cake. In addition to four bedrooms including two masters, there is a kitchen stocked with the usual appliances, utensils and pots and pans, but also a knife sharpener, lemon reamer, zester and kettle. Plenty of outdoor space, we especially liked the screened porch looking out on the bay, and the front porch with Adirondack barstools with built in tables. Genius. Buying them for my porch! The place has bikes, tire inflator, kayaks, beach chairs, buggy for back of the bikes. It is an amazing spot. Two easily solved issues - the house needs a deep clean, especially the bathrooms - showers need a good scrub, and a large pitcher or two would have been great.

We had a wonderful time on our stay at Jump lane! The house was stocked with all the necessary amenities (beach chairs, towels, lots of kitchen essentials etc). Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were and the rooms were really peaceful (only gripe was ac didn’t work as well in two of the upstairs bedrooms but ceiling fans kept it manageable). The property itself is gorgeous- on a beautiful bay with a very nice pool and cute little pier/beach. It’s about a 15 min drive to the beach which wasn’t an issue for us. Would love to come back!

We loved our stay! The property itself as well as the views were as wonderful as the pictures suggest. The management company was very helpful with preparing us for an easy and seamless check in. The amenities in the house and on the wider property were terrific. I would love to have given 5 stars, however, there were some small issues - nothing that can't be fixed, but it did dampen our enthusiasm. First, the house cleaning wasn't great - was OK, but we found one of the beds had some leftover sand. Second, the dishwasher was broken. Didn't turn on at all (yes we checked the breaker). Things break in a rental - we get it - but we called the management company on Tuesday, and they promised a quick response. Nothing - not a single call or attempt at repair, which meant hand washing dishes all week. Not the end of the world, but it will knock you down from 5 stars to 4.
