The property was great, check in was smooth and we had a great time for the first 5 days we were there. A mandatory evacuation was issued on Wednesday, September 25th. I called 3 different rental car companies and 2 informed me they were moving cars to a safer location and the other had internet problems preventing them from renting. Had no choice but to stay and the property manager, Sue, was not happy when we told her we were still at the property. It was a huge liability according to her. Not concerned that we were okay after the hurricane blew over but more so for the owner we were renting from. My last communication with her was on Saturday, Sept the 28th at 2:06 pm after I had explained we were leaving the island. Her only question, how are you getting out with the bridges closed? It's now Wednesday the 3rd of October and we have not been informed what our refunded amount will be. I asked several times and was finally contacted by someone other than Sue that they were addressing the damage the storm had caused to other units they manage. I certainly understand the need to assess, but what about your clients that were affected by the hurricane? Where's the emphasis on getting those accounts resolved? So far, nonexistent.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we loved the location and the ocean views! Sue was great to work with. The downside was the cleanliness of the condo. We were VERY disappointed with this as the first night we stayed there (before I had even laid down in the bed) I found 3 long, black hairs on one of the pillows on my side of the bed not to mention a long black hair down at the bottom of sheets on the inside (I do not have long, black hair)! As mentioned, I had not even laid down in that bed yet and it didn't make we want to. There were also hairs all over the couch cover in the living room. I also found hairs in both showers and on the floors. There were also ants in the condo, especially the kitchen and the guest bedroom. Also, the shower head in the master bathroom shower looked like it had not been cleaned in years.

Easy, accurate check-in, property was everything advertised. The view, sunsets, and beach access were marvelous. Everything about our stay was 10+ even with dealing with Hurricane. Sue and her team are very attentive to my wife and I on our stay and we could not be any happier with out stay!!!

We were in the perfect location for covered parking at the front, and a beautiful balcony with it’s own private winding stairs to the beach and pool. The condo itself was very tastefully decorated with everything you would need to have a GREAT vacation!! The location is also great if you are a foodie, as there are so many great restaurants nearby! I would go any time... including TODAY !! Haha Thank you so much for a wonderful stay for a perfect vacation! Can’t wait to return!!! P.S.: Checking in was so easy and fast!!

Great time

I can’t say enough about Sue. She was amazing at keeping us informed regarding hurricane Ian, evacuation and when we could return. One suggestion I would make, update the locks to push button code, Faub’s, something other than keys. The pool key was not easy to use. Thank you for the stay. The condo was as described with plenty of extras.
