Stayed Jul 30, 2025Great location and spacious layout – perfect for large families! The living areas were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the rental company was easy and they were always very helpful. Just a heads up: beach towels and chairs are not provided, so it's best to bring your own. You can rent them at the store next door, but prices are a bit high. Overall, a awesome stay - highly recommend!

Stayed Jun 5, 2025The location was perfect-walking distance to beach. Large family room and kitchen had all necessary things. One thing I would recommend to the owner is to put a blackout curtains or darker window coverings in the bottom 2 bedrooms. The neighbors had bright lights all whole night. Other than that it was a great location for takeout and easy check in and check out.

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had another wonderful weekend at our favorite Avila Beach condo. Having the beach, Kraken coffee and the restaurants and new tap room nearby is fantastic. The property is spacious, clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The only downside is the expense, which is considerable but we splurge when we can.

Stayed Sep 12, 2024We arrived and we could not park because of the gate code. When we finally got the garage opener, the outside courtyard was covered with painters & drop cloths. Paint fumes- drop clothes, ladders etcs for the first two days. Upstairs smelled like BBQ smoke because of the smoker below the windows. Wi- Fi did not work so we had no TV- Music or computer access. Fireplace did not work. Upstairs toilet (kitchen) did not flush- Ice maker was broken. Doors to patio would not lock and the carpets were dirty. Property manager did not handle any of grievances. Said to go out and buy a bag of ice and they would reimburse us. Very disappointed with Coastal Vacation Rentals.
