2-Floor Penthouse Unit with Wonderful Ocean Views

We loved this property! The views were great from every angle. It was clean and spacious. Our group of 7 enjoyed every minute of of our trip. Already planning to stay here again when we return!

Loved it here! Great spot for the family to enjoy Cozumel! We had a 1.5 year old who running around so we had to move some of the beautiful glass and statues out of reach and watch the balcony ledge as she was too keen to want to climb on it. Just something to be aware of. The condo was great, ac worked amazing, appliances were clean and working. I’d recommend the host switch the coffee maker to one that automatically turns itself off after two hours for safety reasons. Beds were comfy and bathrooms all worked. This property is away from noise of the city but close enough to catch a great dinner. We’ve stayed at RR before for scuba diving but this was the first time we brought all the kids. Five children n three adults were comfy and had plenty of space. Will be back!

We have stayed at RR previously and really like the complex. Pools and beach are great, beach clubs a short walk away and away from the cruise ship dock. This unit was huge, big enough for at least 10 people. Deck has a fantastic view of the pool/beach. Big wraparound deck plus the rooftop. Mini splits in each room let you control the temperature to your liking. Kitchen stocked with all the cookware and dinnerware you need. Just a few notes - directions on how to use the oven would be helpful. Some of the plates don’t fit well in the dishwasher so ended up washing by hand - not a huge deal but FYI. At Mega you must use reusable shopping bags or it’s no bags at all. Would definitely stay here again!!!

This property was better than pictured. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and wish we could have stayed another week! The view from the wrap around balcony and the rooftop are beautiful, and the infinity pool was perfect and uncrowded for most of our stay. The smaller pool is under construction, so there's only one pool available as of this writing. The showers are plenty hot with great water pressure. The beds were comfortable, and there were more than enough linens/towels for our group of 4 for our stay. The washer/dryer are an added bonus! No coming home with dirty laundry!!! The kitchen is well stocked, and there was plenty of bottled water. The only real complaint we had (which is not the fault of the owner or a negative about the actual rental unit) was the entire space was riddled with ants! We've rented at this location before, in a different unit with the same management company. Our previous stay was flawless but this time we had a little hiccup with the check in process. Enjoy Cozumel did not send us the lock box code for the key, nor did the rental manager meet us at the property. We called the number on our confirmation email and the nice gentleman told us Oh, I quit, but try this lock box code... LOL! It did work, so thank goodness he answered our call and was so sweet. If you rent from enjoy Cozumel and do not receive check in information before your arrival, reach out to them so that you don't have any delays getting into your rental unit.

Alex the property manager was the best I I would give him , the maid , and all the guys at the gate 10 stars very nice and very helpful. Oh and dont let the couple on the second floor by the big pool ruin your time. Lol they live there and think they own the whole thing and call security on everyone from what i talked to other residents lol. But the security are very nice too. The breckfast Alex made us our last morning was awsome!!!! And thank you for cleaning our jeep so we didnt have to take a day out of our vacation you guys were the best. And the maid not only cleaned the room but did all our laundry and folded it she is amazing. Everyone there was wonderful except the couple on the 2nd floor by the big pool you 2 suck lol. Over all it was awsome!!!!!

Great property! Condo complex is clean and quiet with plenty of lounge chairs on the beach. If you need more excitement, walk a few mins down the beach to one of the local beach clubs for some food, frozen drinks, and fun. Clean rooms with comfy beds. Lots of nice pluses- for example, you want to float in one of the two pools, no worries, there are rafts waiting in a closet for you. Amazing views with awesome sunsets. It is about 20 mins to downtown via cab- it was around $23 each way. Alex, the property manager, was always available and helpful. Wonderful experience!

I’ll first mention that this unit is on the top floor (3rd) and there is no elevator. You’ll get your exercise in! But the unit itself was great. Beds and pillows were comfortable, bedding was soft, and there was more than enough room for the 6 of us. The kitchen had all the things you’d need. We had problems figuring out how to use the microwave and oven as it was in Spanish. Ruined a couple frozen pizzas. Ha! The balcony was well used and a great place to chill and have a nice cold glass of wine. The pools were refreshing. The beach chairs and palapas were great. Never had a problem finding a place to sit. The beach was nice, though the water was murky and rocky. Bring beach shoes. I was worried about going to Cozumel over spring break but it was super quiet and peaceful. Most of the people were older and no loud crazy parties or rowdiness. Town is about a 15 minute drive. After 5, many of the restaurants shut down on the south side but there were a few options available. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a good stay at this property but would likely not book again. Lots of pros and cons Pros: great space for three couples to have their own space and to enjoy time together. Responsive property manager. Private chef they recommended was fantastic. Neighbors we met at the pool were very friendly and had good suggestions. Cons: ‘hot tub’ on roof is just a bathtub that the property manager told me would likely run out of hot water before getting filled. It also felt like if it were filled with water it would fall through the roof. Below it on the patio there is a obvious leak in the roof. The master bedroom was very humid and smelled like cigarette smoke from the neighbors. The beach was full of plastic trash. There are three sets of directions for the dishwasher and non of us could get it started. Condo is dated and linens need to be upgraded.

The condo was everything I hoped it would be for my family at Xmas. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The kicthen is well sticked if you want to cook. The beds are comfortable and the views are amazing! The property is very nicely kept and the staff at the property manager was very helpful. Even the staff at the gate was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this place!

Monarch of the Sea was perfect. The condo is actually much bigger than the pics indicate and exceeded our expectations. Every room is like an oversized hotel room and decorated well with comfy beds. The living space is large with a niced size kitchen that was very well stocked, and even had Tupperware for leftovers. Nice stainless steel appliances,( range and dishwasher switches are in Spanish, fortunately I speak the language). Washer and dryer worked perfectly and with 8 of us there we used them several times a day (once again switches are in Spanish). Has Rheem a/c units in every room that worked great. Each room could control the desired temp which made for a great night sleep for all of us. The view from inside the condo is absolutely amazing. It has glass doors all the way around the condo which can be opened or just raise the blinds to see out. The view from the condo is stunning!! The wrap around porch is amazing!! Literally can go from any room out to the balcony and see the sea. Mornings were our favorite. Ate breakfast on the balcony looking at the beautiful property and sea almost every day. We used the grill several times. The maid service is great. Came twice during our 11 night stay. Alex, the property manager was very nice and answered any questions we had at any time. The guards at the entrance to the property will go out of their way to help you any way they can for a little tip money (getting a taxi, directions, helping with luggage, etc.) Residencias Reef is beautiful and quiet. It has 4 buildings of units but there was hardly anybody there. Almost had the beach to ourselves everyday. They have around 40 beach chairs and 6/7 hatches with chairs under them, never saw more than 2-3 families on the beach. Two pools. We used the one over looking the beach as did most guests. The pools were never crowded and were perfect to cool off after spending a day at the beach. The pool and the beach were immaculately clean. We saw the grounds keepers cleaning the pool daily and raking the beach daily. Residencias Reef property is very clean and quiet. We only had a rental cars for 2 days of our stay and do recommend Fiesta. They delivered the cars to us just outside the airport and picked them up at the condo the next day. When going home, the delivered them to the condo and picked them up just outside the airport. So convenient for us. This condo has everything you need and is absolutely stunning!!
