First of all - the VIEW. We literally gasped! The cabin was spacious, extremely clean, well appointed with comfortable furniture (the beds were FANTASTIC), and they had the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen at a rental. Communication with the owner was quick and easy and they were extremely helpful/ had great local advice. There is a great little walk down to the lake too that we all really enjoyed. If I find myself in this area again I know exactly where I'll be staying!
Best vacation rental we have ever stayed at! Spacious, well stocked and great layout. We loved the view of the lake and mountains. Sitting in the hot tub was like being on the edge of the world. Watching float planes take off and the train across the lake was super cool. Kitchen so well supplies and stocked. Just bring your clothes and food - everything else was there! Also very private from the other chalets - we still don’t even have a clue where they are! Great location for day trips to Seward, Kenai, Alaskan Wildlife Conservation Center and Hope. Gary made check in and check out so easy and was always a text away if we had a question.
Beautiful home with breathtaking views! We were a little further from Seward than we would of liked but the home had everything we needed minus groceries! Our group of 6 fit comfortably and we enjoyed every second of our time in Alaska!!
This is a fantastic property in a great location for your Kenai Peninsula trip. It is very clean and well stocked with everything you need. We would definitely stay here again.
This property was absolutely amazing! You have breathtaking views overlooking the lake as float planes come and go. The directions to find the cabin were very clear and made it easy to get to. The cabin itself is spectacular - the beds were very comfortable and having three separate bathrooms connected to each room was so nice. The kitchen is wonderful and well stocked with any appliance you would need and the grill outside was wonderful. The deck and living area are wonderful gathering spots to enjoy some downtime! Overall an absolutely wonderful space and one I would visit again in a heartbeat.
We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing. The beds were comfortable and it really contributed to us having a wonderful vacation in Alaska!
This house worked great for our 7 family members. We'll miss the kitchen! It has almost two of everything and we enjoyed cooking most of our family meals there. The view is incredible and we enjoyed watching the sea planes take off and land. The hot tub was ideal for the 50+ degree weather and after a day of adventuring. Gary was very nice and responsive. We arrived extremely late and found a breakfast casserole from the hosts in the refrigerator which was so thoughtful and truly appreciated.
The Chalet was great. Beautiful view, nice location for engaging in local tourism (both in Moose Pass and also not a bad drive down to Seward). Big kitchen, gas grill and outdoor hot tub with easy instructions were a plus, as was comfortable seating and a smart TV indoors. The view is spectacular, even better than advertised. Gary was immediately available for any questions but otherwise left us in peace. Buy some groceries in Anchorage and you can make a full dinner in this nice place, well equipped. Beautiful drive down from Ted Stevens Airport in Anchorage. Upper bedroom is nice and spacious, could have used 2 more pillows and some newer towels, but everything was clean and ready. Our adult children (in their 20's) used the bedrooms and baths downstairs. Perfect for us after Major Marine boat tours out of Seward and Moose Pass Adventures' Kayak/Hike on/around Trail Lake and and Grant Lake. Highly recommend those companies too. A great stay; thank you.
Great location. Great views. Perfect relaxing week.
Property was as described, and the view was stunning. Property manager was easy to get in touch with for check in and other questions.
I rented this beautiful chalet for my now husband and our 3 friends, their dog and our 2 dogs. We eloped in Seward and had the most beautiful perfect weekend . Garry was a great host he communicated with us from the time we booked until we left . This place had everything we could possibly need . I hope to come back and rent this place again . Thank you for an unforgettable weekend !
Everything was perfect. I wouldn't mind living in a house exactly like this. Great kitchen, wonderful views of the lake. The chalet was clean and cozy. It would be the perfect house to host a Thanksgiving in!
The house is very nice, exceptionally clean, beautiful, and has a great view. Gary is great to work with and is very accessible and responsive. It was a wonderful place to stay.
We had a wonderful time, beautiful view and home had everything you need. Thanks for sharing your home and the wonderful breakfast casserole❤️
The house was in a perfect location for many activities.
The chalet was beautiful. It was the perfect vrbo and had a great host and all of the creature comforts you could ask for.
The house was beautiful and we had a great time!
Very nice home. Lots of room. Unbelievable kitchen and laundry room.
Property was in a pretty location, although relatively remote so be prepared for a good amount of driving. House rules are very strict, i.e. cannot wear shoes inside, must shower before using jacuzzi, no early check-in. Rental agreement (sent after booking is completed) is arduous - 5 pages of rules that aren't shown in VRBO listing. Be aware of hidden fees - we were charged an additional $420 after our stay was completed because we had 7 guests in our group, even through the property advertises capacity of 10. The rental agreement notes guests must be registered, but nowhere indicates the high extra nightly costs per person. We were also charged an extra $25 for a registered service dog (we offered to provide paperwork) which is illegal, but it wasn't worth the confrontation.
We were very impressed with our stay. Cabin was beautiful and in an excellent location close to Seward. Watched float planes take off and land from the porch. Helpful host and left a delicious breakfast casserole for us as well.
We rented this property for our family of 6 vacation and it did not disappoint. The property was in close proximity to many trails, lakes, and activities that we did during our stay. The views from the deck were beautiful and the host ensured our stay was top notch. Great experience!
