Wildwood-Magical Dome Home in the Forest!

My daughter and I stayed here for Mom’s Weekend and had the best time. The dome is cozy, unique, and fully stocked—we only had to bring clothes and food.There are hiking trails right outside, and plenty to do nearby—we even went ziplining!Such a peaceful, fun getaway. We’ll definitely be back

This is the second time my girlfriend and I have stayed at the Rooted Domes. First time was The Cocoon and this time was Wildwood. Both were magical. From the decoration, and the overall scenery and vibe. We were devastated when our stay was over, we could be out there for weeks. We definitely want to stay again in the future when we want to get away from everything for a little.

It was so beautiful!!! Just the whole place and time. Love all the little hidden gems.

This experience was better than advertised. The geodome was thoughtfully decorated with activities to unplug and enjoy your surroundings. We loved every detail, from the bathroom aesthetic to the painted floors. Our stay was a chef's kiss and we will 1000% be back for a long weekend. Megan was the PERFECT host- communicative, down to earth, and accommodating. I almost don't want to share this property online because I want to keep a slice of heaven for myself-it's that good people!

It was a great stay. Great ambience. fully self sufficient with a lot of amenities. Peaceful place to relax and unwind. Although the price was a little steep for one night, it was a clean and wonderful stay.

the cleanliness of the property was amazing - inside and out. The open quiet place was perfectly set up and has everything i could have imagined. This was my first solo trip to relax and recharge and the dome allowed me to do exactly that. I felt safe. The stars were amazing. I would love to return regularly if i could afford the normal cost as i booked a last minute winter holiday deal. The steep driveway had me concerned about getting back up to leave but the day I left, it was dry and fine.

We stayed at the Wildwood Domes, the stay was a perfect getaway for a last minute trip at a reasonable price. It had many trinkets and activities inside the dome if we were stormed in, and the aesthetic of the dome was very pleasing as well. Even though we went in the end of November we were very warm with the accommodations and supplemental heat sources provided for our stay. Would recommend to anybody looking for a nice place to stay at in the area

The view was amazing and I loved how clean and cozy our area felt. The details were awesome. Love how accessible and close to Hocking Hills and Athens it was! Great experience!!

The location was perfect for a relaxing stay. The personal touches inside the dome added to the whole atmosphere for a wonderful experience.

I loved everything about this place, the dome was cozy and very unique. The host Megan is just amazing! She makes your stay even better, always available with quick responses. I loved that you can add on things to celebrate anniversary or birthdays, she also has kayaks which we also enjoyed. Overall 10/10. Also the little lights throughout the bridge and going up the stairs at night so magical & beautiful! The bathroom decor super cute too. I loved everything about this place and the experience.

How peaceful it was, the accommodation and all the details put into the dome made the stay amazing. It was a welcoming place and we enjoyed the outdoor tub and fire. There’s not one thing I’d complain about. One suggested I might have is putting an empty bin by the fridge for the little hand towels. Thank you for an amazing stay!!!

What a fantastic dome, every detail was thought through. Total luxury, off the grid tucked away on a peaceful little creek.

It was a good distance to not have to drive too far to the trails, and it was a beautiful place to relax after a long day of hiking. The outdoor bath (with included bath bubbles) was awesome, and the dome itself was full of character. I especially love the record player and the different vinyls.

We stayed at the Wildwood dome and it was such a wonderful experience. The space is serene and restful, with thoughtful details everywhere that make it feel both cozy and special. Inside, the design strikes the perfect balance of comfort and style, and outside, the deck and soaking tub were highlights—mornings with coffee in the quiet woods and evenings under the stars were unforgettable. You can tell so much care went into creating a place that helps you slow down and recharge. It was perfect.

The Wildwood dome felt like stepping into a storybook—every detail perfectly placed. We lounged on the boho swing in the living room, soaked in the outdoor spa tub, and watched the woods and creek from the sprawling deck. We also enjoyed stumbling upon the gnomes and their secret hideouts tucked around the property. Every inch of the Wildwood dome was filled with wonder!

Everything! The scenery, the dome, the peacefulness, the kindness from the owner. It was an all around fantastic stay and I wish I didn't have to go!

This place was immaculate. Absolutely adorable in every corner. Loved the deck and outdoor tub, loved the bed and little kitchen, all the decor. Wished we stayed multiple nights! Will for SURE come back here if we visit hocking hills again. Recommendation: a little microwave. The toaster oven made our frozen oatmeal from Trader Joe’s a little tricky. But that’s on us.

The attention to detail. Anything you could think of that you might need, it was there!

My Wife and I have been super busy with work and wasn’t getting a chance to really spend time with one another. We decided last minute to book a trip and we stayed here. The Dome was new and different for us but such a good time. For only a one night stay we truly did enjoy our time and we will 100% be coming back.

Everything was perfect! The attention to detail of everything in the dome. Megan had everything you could possibly need there for you. Communication with her was awesome. We will definitely come back and highly recommend staying here to everyone.

Style of the room, the view, the bathroom and all the available amenities. The owner was very accommodating and extremely helpful.

This stay was beautiful. Megan thought of everything you could need and more. Everything was so peaceful and beautifully decorated. There were candles, diffusers and star projectors and even a heating pad on the mattress that made the cold nights cozy. She made this dome feel like you never wanted to leave!

We leave very happy, the stay was great. The very cozy and dreamy place my girlfriend fell in love with every detail. Thank you for making us spend a special night

So many small things that really brought the stay to a new level such as the projector, records, games, Polaroids, instruments. Everything felt so deliberate and set up with love.

We were blown away with how cool this place was. The tub was a unique view of the stars and full moon. The decor was awesome full of serenity and uniqueness. We listen to tunes on the record player, played proved games, made dinner with the provided stuff in the Kitchen and cooked on the grill. The provided wood made for a great little fire. The host even came down to give us a bottle of wine since the closest store was 30’min out (we venmod her) . I was nervous about the bathroom not being attached but it’s a stones throw away and it’s beautiful and clean. We will be referring our friends and returning!

Everything was perfect and well thought out. From the bed, to the swing inside, the record player, the fire pit and the outdoor bathtub, everything that you could think of was there. Soap, towels, privacy curtains and even farm fresh eggs. I could go into every detail for you but I encourage you to look on their website and see for yourself.

There was no detail left out during planning for people to relax and take a break!

This was my husbands and I’s second stay. We stayed at the cocoon before. Wildwood is now my favorite. It’s so peaceful and relaxing. I love the outside bathtub! It’s so much better than a hot tub.

Beautiful location, the hosts thought over everything, and the place was very inviting.

What a wonderful visit! So much thought and effort has gone into this amazing space. We loved watching the sunbeams twinkle on the changing leaves and listening to the rain, while listening to music and doing a jigsaw puzzle. Megan was proactive and attentive. The kitchenette was great for our meals, and we slept well. The bathroom was very comfortable and everything was a treat for the senses. Don’t forget to use less soap, the water is well-softened. I would definitely return!

Rooted Domes in the remote woods of Nee Plymouth was the perfect getaway to relax and forget about the daily grind. The attention to detail by the owners made for a wonderful evening. The spa tub on the deck was amazing!

The remote location provided a serene setting to enjoy nature and recharge. The amenities were perfect and the dome was very clean. We will be back again.

My husband and I splurged for our birthdays and it was an absolute dream of a stay. We got lucky with a mid-week stay and had the place to ourselves and it felt so far away from civilization and was just the restful reset we needed. The vibe was immaculate and everything was provided for us. The breakfast add on was worth it for us, and was a nice comfort on a chilly morning. The deck was our favorite and had such a lovely view. The bed was so cozy I never wanted to leave!

Awesome property. Very remote, which to us is great. It was so nice, my wife and I really didn't leave.
