Sunrise Forest, peaceful retreat in Hocking Hills sleeps 9 with 3 full bathrooms

We had a great time celebrating my son’s fiancé before their wedding. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us. The kitchen layout allowed us to easily prepare meals together and enjoy them around the large table. Highlights of the weekend were hiking at Hocking Hills, hot tub time spent affirming the bride, and morning coffee in front of the fire. We ran out of time to enjoy the fire pit, but will use it as a reason to return. :)

The property was awesome!! Clean, well-equipped with everything we needed right down to dog food and water bowls. The scenery is beautiful. We would stay here again, and recommend this property to family and friends!!!

We stayed at Sunrise Forrest for Spring break. 2 adults, 3 kids, and one big dog. The property is a bit out there, but exactly as described. We had spotty cell service, but could connect through WiFi-calling. (I wanted to be disconnected anyway!) We had one day where a breaker blew, and the hot water ran out. Angie and her husband were SUPER responsive, and had a maintenance person out in under 30 minutes. We had a great time using the fire pit and hammocks, and walked the trails on property. The beds were comfy, and we appreciated the hot tub after hiking all day. The only thing we were missing was body wash. There were some small bars of Dial deodorant sticks… but we made due with that and some hand soap. Overall it was a great time, we highly recommend!!

Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The communication with the host was very good. They even supplied wood for the indoor fireplace. Very quiet property.

I cannot recommend Sunrise Forest enough! It was so beautiful, clean, and the owner thought of everything. We had the best time! The listing does not even do it justice. We are hoping to make this a return trip for next year!

Everything was just perfect! Beautiful home and property. Home was very clean and well stocked. The owners were amazing! We WILL be back!

The cabin was perfect! Was stocked with a ton of dishes, cookware that we ended up needing as well as board games, wood for the fireplace and a little welcome basket!

Clean, well appointed, cozy. As hoped for and described. Enjoyed our comfortable stay with six people. One underrated quality is that it is well insulated with excellent indoor comfort for our December visit.

We had special request and our host was very accommodating. We had 9 people and the house had more than enough room for all of us. We were really wanting to have a fire outside and looked for wood on our way to the house but when we got there our host already had wood stacked in the fire pit. The inside of the house was very clean and perfect for our large group. The property outside was very clean even though it was fall all of the leaves were blown and it looked like the little trails by the house were blown clean of leaves as well. Overall a very cute property and very gracious host! Would definitely book again. We had a great time.

We loved having 3 baths! The beds were great and lots of privacy! In the evening there was enough room for all 7 of us to crash in the family room and watch a movie. It was great!

House was clean and it was a great stay for a friend group of ladies. The driveway was loose rock and a little scary at the angle of hill when exiting. Overall, wonderful place to stay!

The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. We loved using the fire pit and the hot tub. All in all we had a great weekend.

The property was large and we were able to have our dog run. Our 4 kids enjoyed the fire pit and hiking on the marked trails. We had a nice relaxing time.

Beautiful property. Lovely peaceful trails through the property. The home was very homey and clean. Angie thought of almost everything you might need while away from home and even left some snacks and recommendations for exploring the area.

Beautiful property! Loved everything about it. Has a real cabin feel about it. My whole family loved it. The grandkids 4 and 8 loved it too. Keeping this down as a favorite if we go back to Hocking Hills.

The property was beautiful, easy to find, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for a few days.The lights by the firepit were a really nice touch, and the hot tub was relaxing. The host was easy to communicate with.We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property which was convenient to all the hiking in the area.

We had a blast exploring the trails around the house, my kids loved the swing set. And make sure to check out the stars while you're there. Absolutely gorgeous.

We loved our stay at Sunrise Forest! This was the first-ever VRBO experience for my parents, and they were so impressed. We had everything we needed, checking in and out was so easy, and it was cozy while also being excellently cool on a couple of muggy, sweltering hot summer days. Would 100% stay again!

We really enjoyed the property. The house was very clean and well furnished. The kids really enjoyed the hammocks and the playground equipment. This was our second visit and we would come back again.

This property was absolutely amazing! Stunning views, secluded location, and the landline phone was a huge plus for ordering pizza!

The place was beautiful with lots of room to run around. No phone service WHICH I ENJOYED! However, they have wifi if you need it.

If you're looking for privacy with your Family, look no where else.

This cabin was beautiful, very clean and had everything we needed. There was an issue with the TV, because the power went out prior to our stay, that the host was very quick to respond to. I appreciated the ample chairs and seating space outside. A tie out was even provided that we used for our dog. I can’t think of one negative thing to say about this cabin and our stay.

My sisters and I loved this house. It was so cozy and comfortable. It offered more than we needed but was so peaceful. I really liked that it was far away from the road so you had quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub and visiting in the cozy living room. The generous supply of wood on hand was so nice, as we enjoyed a fire most of the time we were there. I will definitely book this place again for my family.

Beautiful cabin, clean, full of amenities just as if we were in our own homes. Comfy and cozy. Did not need or want for anything. Really enjoyed our downtime here. Most of us are in healthcare and this was a great place to get away and decompress!

This place was perfect! My friends and I take an annual trip and this had all we needed. We made snacks, played games, hung out in the hot tub, by the campfire and more. Visited the Hocking Hills Winery and took a walk through nearby Ash Cave. Great communication with the host. A wonderful weekend!

We fell in love with the home and property. Everything was wonderful, intentional, and thoughtful. We loved the land and views they were just gorgeous! The beds were comfy We have been coming to Hocking for a long time and this is our fave place we have stayed. Will be back!!

The cabin was excellent. There was nothing more you could ask for except better weather. It rained everyday we were there but the cabin had everything anyone could want to make the stay great. It was clean and beautiful. We will definitely come back again.

The property was very secluded and private. One of the cleanest properties we have stayed in. Plenty of space for our family. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit, it was setup nice with all the seating you need. Hosts are very responsive If we return to the area we would not hesitate to book here again

We love this house we stayed in. We stayed two nights. It was very clean and we had no issues. This was a girls weekend. We enjoyed the caves, lake, shops, restaurants and beautiful scenic drives.

Plenty of room in the house and outside. Very clean, comfortable, and plenty of room to relax. Dog friendly, plenty of space to roam without neighbors nearby.
