Summit Lodge - Smoky Mtn Views, Central Location, Hot Tub & Ping Pong!

Beautiful view and cozy home!

Location and mountain view are incredible. The cabin was well-equipped but needs a little TLC. The only comfortable bed is the master king. The other beds would have been fine for a short stay but after several nights, sleeping became uncomfortable. The hot tub was great with lots of powerful jets. The upstairs was stuffy and the ceiling fan motor is frozen. The property manager was notified of maintenance concerns and very attentive. The observation area is grown over and really not usable. Overall, I would consider staying again, but for a shorter stay or with less adults. The drive up is not bad at all (google maps will get you there just fine) and you can’t beat the view.

Our stay was wonderful l, the cabin is beautiful. Hope we have a chance to visit again. Would like to inform you there is carpenter bees on porch near the barbecue pit. The staff at Sundog was very helpful, kind & patient with all my questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The cabin what a beautiful view. It was spacious for all individuals. Road to cabin was scary one vehicle road with numerous hairpin curves without was to allow motorists to past another vehicle. Also numerous items thought to be provided such as extra toilet paper was not available. Trying to fine common items required scavenger hunt. Maybe a listing for location of items to be found. This lowered my rating of the cabin.

Had an all time weekend at the summit lodge. Not sure you can find a better view and home in the area!

Everything about this house was great. Plenty of room, good kitchen awesome views. The proximity the park is awesome and we will be back.

We enjoyed a lovely stay on a peak in the Great Smokies! This house was a lovely retreat from the hustle and bustle. Immaculate house and location, easy booking, and great staff!

Great location with awesome view. Porch allows great morning views with a cup of coffee. Big living area that fit our group. Plenty of beds. Kitchen nicely stocked with cooking equipment.

Very nice cabin. AC not working on 3rd floor but Staff came right away and took care of it.

Spotlessly clean, beautiful views, gorgeous wood cabin, well furnished, great communication with rental agency. Tough road to drive up because of the steepness and sharp curves, but manageable once we got past the fear factor. We had a delightful stay!

What a beautiful place and what a beautiful location for a family getaway. We could not have been happier with the accommodations and the views from the back deck! We stayed with our oldest, her husband, and three-year-old grandson and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here. The only things that could’ve made it more perfect were if there was a safer way to turn around in the steep driveway lol but we figured it out. If you bring little ones: there is not really an area to play outside except for on the decks on the back side of the cabin. That is just an observation for families with kids,more than a complaint. We thoroughly enjoyed going into the little town of Sylva and enjoyed all the little towns and shops and restaurants in the area. It’s a short drive to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway, which has just spectacular views! Highly recommend!

The cabin is beautifully situated in the mountains, and feels secluded despite being a relatively short drive away from a town where you can readily get the necessities. A perfect base of operations for hiking and rafting which are within easy driving distance. Rafting is very reasonably priced. Good BBQ available on the deck, and perfect hot tub for relaxing after a day of activity.
