Stayed May 3, 2024What an amazing property! Gorgeous, custom log cabin with all the amenities! We were there for a college graduation weekend. My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Hot tub, pool table, fire pit - soooo much fun! The cabin was spotless, full of special touches. So pretty, so quaint. No complaints! Would definitely book again.

Stayed Jul 21, 2025Beautiful property. Very private. The place could definitely use some new dishes and there was mouse poop in the closet. The bed in the first floor bedroom was terrible and the towels looked dingy. Everything else was really good. Great location.

Stayed Jul 6, 2025The house and property were very nice and we enjoyed ourselves, however there were mouse droppings in several closets and by the pull-out couch in the loft. We also saw and killed two mice while we were there inside the home.

Stayed Mar 27, 2025I can’t say enough about how lovely this cabin is. Our group went there to celebrate my fiancés birthday. It is the halfway point between NJ and OH which is why we chose Huntington, and I’m so glad we did. The cabin was impeccably clean, spacious and comfortable. All necessary items for cooking and making a fire were provided. It’s just perfect for a group of friends to chill for a weekend. It’s also very close to nearby hiking, caverns and cute breakfast spots. Highly recommend!

Stayed Sep 30, 2024To explain the ratings: I am a native of Huntingdon and the description of how close the property is to Juniata College, the hospital, and town is really erroneous. The location is beautiful, peaceful and quiet but it is a six mile drive to Huntingdon or a six mile drive to Cornpropst Mills on very windy, but paved, narrow roads. I know the road because I learned to drive on it, but it isn't for the faint of heart, especially at dark. I knew the shortcut roads, but I bet not many other visitors do. We were unable to access the door code as none of us had cell service. My bad for not writing it down before heading to the top of Stone Creek Ridge. I had to drive back down the ridge into town to be able to call and get the passcode. Other than that our stay was good. Deer every morning and evening. Great birding, you have a pileated woodpecker, among other great birds there. The stairs were steep for elders, but I am sure you are marketing to Penn State or Juniata families. An axe for splitting kindling would be nice, but we were all Girl Scouts and made it work. I would recommend a higher rating, if you fix that description!! Cheers!

Stayed Jun 11, 2024Strengths: Beautiful log cabin. Quiet and secluded. Spotlessly clean. Easy drive into Huntingdon. Accurate description. Nice hot tub. Nice deck. Opportunities: (had to think about this for a while): Beds not very comfy. Could use an upgrade. Add some silverware (4 adults, 4 tiny forks). Water pressure….Lighting….I'm digging deep here.

Stayed May 30, 2024Great Trip- we enjoyed it all. Last night the hot tub had an EC on the panel and we noticed there was not a filter in the hot tub so the bugs were not getting trapped.
