Smoky Mountain Holiday Home with Hot Tub!

Enjoy the privacy and beauty of the Smoky Mountains in our 3 bedroom mountainside cottage. Glenglassaugh House is near the south gate of the GSMNP and offers a furnished wraparound porch, huge master suite, rooftop deck, hot tub, firepit, and more!

Our mountain cottage includes two bedrooms plus a master loft suite opening onto a rooftop deck complete with a mountain view. There is an outdoor hot tub on the porch. Downstairs, you'll find a full kitchen and stone gas fireplace. Enjoythe natural view, outdoor dining, or even watching a movie on the furnished wraparound deck.

Glenglassaugh House is nestled in the heart of the North Carolina Smokys at an elevation of approximately 2,600 feet. We're only a short drive from the county seat in Sylva, the artist haven of Dillsboro, and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. Excellent fishing, tubing, and horseback riding can be found for locally for the adventurous. A slightly farther drive takes you to the Casino and the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Enjoy old world charm here in the Smoky Mountain highlands of North Carolina. The house is situated privately, with unobstructed sunrise views of the Savannah Creek valley below. We are located deep in the mountains of Western NC, some of the oldest mountains on earth. They have deep roots, and the iron in the soil has rusted over millions of years, coloring everything about the area, and that includes the fixtures of the house and the water. We do try our best to remove the harmless orange stains from anything in contact with water, like the toilet and dishwasher, but the NC character just seems to want to stick. Please also understand that the house is in a rural area and surrounded by trees. Wildlife is everywhere and despite frequent cleaning and maintenance, we cannot guarantee a wildlife free experience. Spiders, stink bugs, ladybugs, and even small creatures are endemic to the area and may make an appearance. We cannot grant refunds based on sightings of these or similar endemic flora or fauna at, in, or around the property. And please don’t feed the neighborhood bear.

Safety and security are important to us. The house is protected by a Ring alarm system, including a Ring doorbell and smart lock to assist in check in.
