Rhode's Hideaway- Dog Friendly, Minutes to Salida, Close to Monarch

Great location and area. Enjoyed our stay.

The view is spectacular and the mountains are ever changing each day. Close to good restaurants. Loved the space for our dog to run and play. Plenty of parking. We'll be back!

Perfect getaway

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Rhode's Hideaway. The house was clean, comfortable and had outstanding views of the landscape in the area.

Home was clean, views are beautiful and a relatively quiet neighborhood. I would say the photos make it look as if it is on a very private piece of land, however homes all around and busy road next to it (during hunting season). Easy access to Salida and restaurants and activities. We did have a challenge getting the home warm enough in early November, and would suggest a new mattress in the master as we had to use another room as it was not comfortable. It was a cozy home, could easily accommodate more than just the two of us, pet friendly. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Well maintained older Home and beautiful mountain location. They were not kidding about the Wi-Fi and we had to have someone come out and actually fix it before it would ever work. They were able to get it fixed within two or three days, however. Nice central location that allowed us to visit more places West and south in the state. Older appliances and cheaper kitchen tools.

This is probably one of my favorite VRBOs. It has absolutely everything you could need. If you are looking for a totally modern, refurbished place, this may not fit your bill exactly, but it looks like it's in the process of a continuous updating and refurbishing. This is also probably the cleanest place I've every stayed, and that means alot to me. Great, great place with a wonderful energy and a wonderful view!

We had a wonderful time at the Hideaway. Gorgeous views of the mountains, quiet and peaceful yet close enough to town for a good meal or shopping. We had a lovely time and hope to come back!

Great stay- left a night early based on schedules

The house was very clean and spacious—the bedrooms are huge—and had pretty much anything we could have needed. The only issue was that the wi-fi was out for most of our stay, but fortunately cell coverage was fine. The location was very convenient to town and we loved drinking our morning coffee on the deck while looking at the gorgeous mountains.

Place was very spacious and clean! The location was away from town and was very quiet but close enough it was only a short 5 minute drive to get into town. Wildlife would greet us every morning and evening and overall was just a very relaxing atmosphere. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be coming back next time we are in Salida!

Everything was super!! The amenities, the beds were comfortable, the view, the access to downtown Salida. I would highly recommend staying at Rhode’s hideaway.

Comfortable accomodations and great view in a perfect location! It was easy to explore Salida and the surrounding areas. We loved the wrap-around deck and property. The house was not as large as it appeared in the photos but it was cozy. The kitchen was well-equiped. We specially liked that our dogs were welcome! We definetily recommend it and would love to go back!
